Nice trimmer

The only negative I have for this trimmer is the slick feeling of the plastic. It could use a little grippy/texture to help keep from dropping it. The plastic also attracts the clipped hairs (static), so it's a little messy. But I am overall very happy with the trimmer. It has sufficient power and cuts the hair without pulling. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't find replacement blades

I would absolutely love this product if I could find replacement blades. It seems fairly easy to remove the blade, but I've been trying to find the replacement blades and am not having any luck. It seems like it removes peach fuzz or little hairs incredibly -- only a handful of times. If there were replacement blades, it would be a 10 out of 5 stars, but it's just pretty disappointing that there aren't replacement blades. It's designed really well and it's just really convenient to take with you -- while it still is removing hair, haha. Please make replacement blades, or make them easier to find! I loved this thing at first, but I might just be better off just buying razor wands, instead of buying a new trimmer every couple of weeks.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review.
Pros:
-came with battery
-easy to assemble
-quiet
-came with 2 sizes of blades and a cover for eyebrow trimming

-did not trim close, left stubble. Thought is was possibly because of the user, but had my daughter use it with the same results.

Both my daughter and I used this product for several areas, and had the same results with all of the attachments and areas. Not a bad product for a quick trim, but definitely left stubble and had to go over the areas multiple times to rid of hair.

Attractive, Compact Trimmer Great for On-the-Go!

I received the Philips Satin Compact Precision Trimmer for free in order to provide my honest opinion – and to be honest – I was a bit skeptical at first. I have tried other trimmers in the past and they have never really done for me what they are supposed to so I inevitably would regret my decision to purchase. However, when I opened the box for the Satin Compact, I was immediately impressed. Right off the bat, the trimmer itself is very attractive. It is sleek with a pearlized white color, rose gold accents, and a great texture. In addition, everything you need to get started is in the package – including a battery! The set also comes with a variety of attachments. Still, visual appearance aside, the real test is how well the trimmer actually works at removing hair. Having said that, after using the Satin Compact for a week, I have to admit I am impressed overall. Without question, the trimmer gets my unwanted hair down to where it is definitely no longer noticeable, making it perfect for on-the-go uses. I particularly found the small blade very effective for the eyebrow area. The only drawback for me is that the trimmer is unable to get a feeling of complete smoothness with my type hair so while it will not be a replacement for my more invasive hair removal process, it is absolutely perfect for maintenance in between, as well as being a staple for traveling given its compactness and discreteness. You should note, however, that my hair growth tends to be coarse so I suspect someone with lighter, fine hair may very well be able to achieve totally smooth skin. Finally, in case you are wondering, unlike other hair removal options, using the trimmer resulted in zero pain or discomfort which of course is a huge plus! I would definitely recommend the product to friends and family.

Broke within 2 days

I purchased this product and it worked fine for a couple of days. However, after less than a week it completely fell apart. The top where the blade is actually melted and fell apart. I do not recommend this product.

Worst Purchase- Do not buy

I just purchased this, brought it home, and it doesn't work. The blades barely move and it dies after 3 seconds. I will never purchase another Phillips product again! Such a waste of money.
Cons: poor quality, doesn't work
