Overall, the Philips Satin Compact Women`s Precision Trimmer for Eyebrows & Face trimmed my facial hair in an acceptable manner. It did not blow me away, but it was completely satisfactory. In a quick pinch, when I don`t have time to pluck or wax, this is an acceptable replacement. I was sent this product for free for my review
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This trimmer is lightweight and very easy to handle. It is precise and gives a smooth result.

I am very near-sighted and find the compact size of this trimmer allows me to get as close to the mirror at any angle to take care of my brows. The results are far superior to waxing my sensitive skin.

This product is GREAT for all the peach fuzz I have on the sides of my face that I used to use sissors on. Naturally the sissors did not get as close and results were not as satisfatory. This product works well on my blonde upper lip hairs as well! I am no longer embarrassed to go to the Dentist, sitting under the bright lites!

I like the fact that this is small and it is just right for what I need it for. The lighted tweezers are very handy for finding those hairs you cannot see.

I think this trimmer is awesome and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the type is so small for the directions that I had to log on to the website to learn how to use the attachments.
Another reviewer suggested a light to illuminate the area to be trimmed and I think that would be a GREAT idea!

I had been looking for a easy way to remove unwanted hair from my face, particularly for my eyebrows, for a very long time and I was so thrilled when I found the Philips Precision Trimmer at my local Drug Store. My eyes have been getting bad over the years and I just couldn't see well enough any more to pluck every little unwanted hair. It was frustrating and it was making me feel older than I am. This trimmer has solved all of the issues I was having. It gets right in there and trims every one of the unwanted hairs that are easy to get at, while the precision attachment that slides along the blade making it as small, or as big as you like, permits you to shape them just how I like them. Attach the definition comb to the trimmer, and you can clean up your brows with in 4mm to 2mm, depending on how short you like them to be. It’s nice and light, so your arm isn’t killing you as you go through the process and it comes with a little brush so you can keep it clean. I wish it also came with a little bag to keep track of all the attachments, but it doesn't. It does take a little while to get use to using it, you have to fine what angle works best for you, and because I need glasses to see what I’m doing, this can be a bit of a challenge. It’s hard to get right in there when you have glasses sitting on your nose, but other than that it works great on brows. I’ve also used it on my upper lip and it removed every one of the unwanted hairs just as I expected it to do. Other than getting around my glasses the only other thing I have a problem with is where to buy replacement blades for it. I sure hope they let us know soon, other wise its just going to end up in a draw somewhere along side many other forgotten objects. If you like to do your brows at home, or if you’ve been struggling with the chore like I was, than I definitely would recommended The Philips Precision Trimmer to you or anyone else that would like to have something on hand that can do the job quickly.
