This is my second over the range hood from cosmo , I love it !! Looks great and it takes all the cooking smell out of the kitchen , only thing it’s a little loud

Nice range hood

Purchased this after reading other reviews. Pros and cons are correct. Yes it's heavy, yes it's not that quiet. But for a commercial style unit this is very good. I was able to install on my own with a small car jack. Once lifted into place I bolted the top. Was able to use the right side holes into a stud and left side used shields. Added one hole into a stud in lower middle of unit for extra hold. Used an 8" to 6" reducer and the crimped 8" slid over the 7.5" hood vent perfectly. There is a bit of reduction going to 6" but all is working fine. I like the basic push buttons, and the venting works very well. So far so good. I recommend this unit, just have a plan when installing.

Huge Improved Compared To My Old Range Hood

I've purchased the Cosmo QB75 range hood to replace my old one that's 23 years old, and the replacement parts are discontinued It was a little difficult to install at first, but when it was completed, It function wonderfully. This was back in the Summer of 2019. Four years later, It is one of the best products I've purchased for my kitchen. The fans are powerful compared to my old range hood. 95% of the time, I use only the first fan mod as it's more than enough for ventilating my stove. Any more than that, it's overkill and too loud to deal with. The filters are easy to clean and are reusable. I'm confident that this will work for the next couple of years. I'm glad to purchase this range hood!

I have had the 30" QS75 installed for about a month now and could not be happier. The hood build quality is solid with quality materials. I have used the hood a few times now to vent some pretty "odorous" dishes that in the past would have lingered throughout the house for days. Garlic, Anchovies, Ginger, Onion are no match for this externally vented hood. I only used the 2nd fan speed and it was highly effective without being excessivley noisy. Installation was relatively straight forward although i would like to have seen a mounting solution similar to those used for above range microwaves verus having to hold the unit in place while inserting wall anchors and such. This unit is well built which equates to heavy, so definitely a two person job to install. Otherwise, exceeding expectations and looks great too.

This under-cabinet hood looks great and pulls out air very well. I like the auto shut off feature. My only disappointment is that even the low setting is louder than I expected.
