This is an upgrade from a Galaxy A-53, which in turn was an upgrade from a Pixel 6 Pro. I thought that the Pixel would be an upgrade from a Galaxy Note-9, but I was dead wrong. Besides not having a stylus, the "native" Android experience was not even close to what I was hoping it would be. I'm not excusing Samsung's bloatware or the app store hijacking apps that were installed by Google's Play Store (Zoom, Vudu/Fandango, etc.). However, the overall experience puts even the A53 above the Pixel. (I got the A53 because it was all I could afford at the time after I decided I had suffered the Pixel long enough.) The only thing I miss about the Pixel is the camera array: it's better than the A53, and the the phone doesn't wiggle when sitting on a flat surface. To be fair, though, my S24 Ultra doesn't wiggle either, but only because it's safely enclosed in an OtterBox. (Honestly, I do not understand why most phone manufacturers put their cameras in the corners and have the lenses protrude so much: it's like they're begging for the cameras to be the first things to break. I would really like to see a larger battery, which would mean longer uses between charges, as well as a built-in means of reducing the size of the camera bumps.) Let's be clear, the Ultra is a heavy-weight brick. It's not for small or even medium hands, nor is it for long sessions of games or doom-scrolling -- I'm talking the weight. It's heavy. The battery holds up extremely well. In summary, the S24 Ultra is exactly what I was expecting from a new top-model Samsung phone. I may dabble with other brands in the future, but I'm definitely going to study up on them first. (And the Pixel will never again be an option. Not the phone, watch, ear-buds, or anything else bearing that name.)
On a side-note: I also have a Galaxy watch. It pairs with both the A53 and S24 very well, and I've been quite happy with it... but that's a different review.

It's such a good, solid, well performing phone. It's just so bulky and oddly shaped. Also, the photos are not what I was hoping for. I don't want to have to mess with a bunch of settings to get a good picture that isn't blurry. I'm choosing to return it, but hope that samsung can make another amazing phone that is easier to hold, and has a camera as good as the pixel pro.
Excellent phone. The battery life is exceptional even with heavy use, charging speed is reasonably quick, screen big and beautiful. Upgrading from an S23 Ultra, I'm not sure there's much difference. I do prefer the flatter screen.
Hi Samsung team. So my concern using this phone is fingerprint Sensor needs a lot of work and Brightness need attention. Weight is heavy, and Samsung should consider Ultra mini Series. It will be a big hit in the market. Camera need to be improvised as well. Rest it's a great phone.
