Disappointed

I've switched from apple to Samsung in 2017 and loved it. But I just upgraded to S21 5G and I was very disappointed to find out after i brought it home that itnhas no memery card slot on top of not being able to use my aux cable in my car anymore.

This just isn't it. Disappointing.

I went from a note 9 to the s21 ultra thinking I was getting a game changing phone and to say I am disappointed is putting it mildly. You not only lose the auxiliary port option, you lose the s-pen, you lose several other key features of the note which I thought I wouldn't miss, but I do. Those aside, what I really bought this phone for was the camera. I thought I was going to get a phone with a top of the line camera that took clear, beautiful photos especially at a distance. This phone falls short every time. I wish I had never spent the money to upgrade, because it was a total downgrade. The photos always come out grainy. It doesn't matter if it's during the day, or at night, or sunny or cloudy, inside or outside, people, places or things, it is always a subpar photo that you can clearly see is grainy. Most of the photos of people that I've taken are overexposed which can be adjusted but they are really lackluster in comparison to the standard settings on older note phones. I wanted to love it and I was really excited about it since I've been a samsung user for about 12 years, but going forward I think I might go ahead and step out of my comfort zone and try another brand.

For the price of this phone, you would think it would perform better. The first problem is that it will automatically install updates rather you want them or not. The major problem is receiving images through text messages/MMS. They will NOT download. I thought it was just my phone but after a Google search, this appear to be a common problem. I had much less problems with my 4G Samsung 7. Very frustrating problem!

Clearly the best phone I've ever owned and I've had them all....early Samsung, iPhones, HTC, Treo's, the works. I came back to Samsung starting with the S10 because it was simply the best. The S21 Ultra is light years ahead of even that. Build, Quality, Performance, Design, Storage, EVERYTHING. I have 1000's of photos and over 2000 songs on this phone. The performance and camera are impeccable. I don't understand the bad reviews......#SAMSUNGFORLIFE

The worst Samsung I've ever had

Two months after I buy this phone had an update, after that is being the worst Samsung ever! I had since Galaxy 6, Note9, Note 10, and now this Galaxy S21 Ultra, that I was waiting to be the best, it's slow, the touch screen is terrible all the time I type wrong! To make this review is a pain, really, the camera when you open is leg all the time, it's really the worst Samsung ever! A lot of app is not working good! Its really the worst! And I love Samsung

Keeps re-sending texts

I did my first update. Now, every time I restart my phone, or just randomly....it will resend texts to me. 80 to 100 texts at a time. One time it re-sent a text to some one else.

Worse than the s10

Have had this phone for 4 months now- 128gb. Just transferring everything from my s10 I already was over 100gb and there is no ability to add removable storage which is why I always went with Android phones. So I'm maxed out on storage to start. The battery life is terrible. The 10 would last me 2 full days for the whole first year. This phone with medium-heavy use does not even last me 1 day. Need to charge once, sometimes twice a day off the bat. I was hoping that was just this phone but I've searched reviews and they all say the same. Lastly, no headphone jack which forces you to purchase wireless headphones from a company that doesn't make anything that can compare in quality to the iPhone airpods. Other than those points it's basically the same galaxy. Very disappointed in the downgrades.
