[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to replace an LG handset at the start of the year. LG was getting out of cell phones, so I looked elsewhere. I wanted a phone that had current OS, and would keep it updated. Mostly for security reasons. I wanted a phone not bigger than 6.0". I also wanted it to be waterproof. I had a couple of choices, and landed on the S21.
I am very happy with the purchase. Phone has great performance. Jumping between and launching apps is fast. Screen is bright and clear. Battery life is exceptional. I can usually go two of three days on a charge. OS has been updated several times already. I have also tested to ensure it is waterproof. It even pops up a warning when it detects water in the charging port. Overall very satisfied.
I have heard of issues with build quality on Samsung phones in the past, but have not seen any with this device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I'm fairly happy with the Galaxy s21. I am missing the headphone port & the expandable SD card storage. With an older model car the lack of a headphone port is huge for now not being able to connect via an auxiliary cable. I do like the bigger base phone storage but it is still limiting. The phone has gotten warm a few times while doing updates but overall I'm happy with it.

One feature I have not found is a way to personalize ringtones to my contacts.
