User friendly and amazing quality

I've had the S7 since it came out, and have had no desire to change. That phone was the best, most reliable phone I've had in years. Therefore, when I upgraded, I wanted to keep it for backup. The cost of the 21 allowed for that to be fiscally possible.
Other than the cost, the device itself is amazing. Very light and slim, so not too bulky for small hands. Sound and image quality is phenomenal as well.
The one thing I'd like to point out is that you will want to redo saved fingerprints after putting a screen protector on, as it makes the old ones invalid. Not terrible, so long as you are aware. It can be a bit iffy even after that, too, so be patient or use a different method..
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upgraded from S9+, wasted money

Upgraded from my 3 years old S9+ just to find out that S21 is at best at par with the three years old model and in some aspects even worse than it.
The phone is not faster or more responsive, the screen at least at par with S9+ in real life usage, fingerprint sensor is simply terrible (always multiple attempts to unlock), the camera is laggy (probably due to more smart features that cpu isn't capable of handling in real time).
Ok phone if you consider a new purchase, but you'll waste money if upgrade from anything newer than S8.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pathetic phone

S21 5G device is worst Samsung device for a life long supporter of Samsung. Its a downgrade from S7 edge that I used successfully for 5 years without issues. Random restarts. Fingerprint recognition doesn't work always. Only camera is good. Battery performance is degrading too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
