Needs more refinement

It's a refined device but there's still lot of improvement needed. It's still gives issues transferring data from previous version of this phone. It's Sad!

Smart Switch is a convenient app that lets you quickly transfer files from your old phone to a new Galaxy phone. Data from synced accounts cannot be transferred with Smart Switch but will appear on the new device once you've logged in to the account. Here's the content that Android devices can transfer to one another: Personal content: Contacts, S Planner, Calendar, Messages, Memo, Call logs, Clock, Samsung Pass, Secure Folder, and Internet. App data: Images, Music (DRM free content only), Videos (DRM free content only), Documents, Story Album, and Applications. Settings, etc: Email, Wallpaper, Lock screen, Radio, and Preferences. We would love nothing more than to assist you with whatever you may be experiencing with your new Galaxy S24 Ultra but without having any details available and without being able to ask you any follow up questions, I recommend reaching out to Samsung Support for further assistance and/or help with troubleshooting at your earliest convenience. Display Color washed out and poor black contrast

I bought the s24 Ultra a month ago and traded my note 20 ultra because I thought it is worth the upgrade, but found out its not. The display colors for the s24 ultra is washed out. The brightness and black contrast is so low when you are watching videos that when a black object is in front of a black wall, you can hardly see the object even at a day time scene. When watching a video at a night time scene specially in the shadows, everything thats colored black disappears in the background. I had my s24 ultra sitting side by side with my note 20 ultra and the video clarity, contrast and brightness are way better in the note20 ultra. The s24 ultra looks better in paper in terms of brightness nits, but in real life, its inferior to the note20 ultra (i'm not sure for the s21-23). I honestly feel i downgraded my phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far I really enjoy the S24 Ultra. I upgraded from the S22 Ultra mainly for battery life. The battery life has been outstanding so far. I really like the new flat display. I enjoyed the curved display but after using the S24 Ultra for about a week I like the flat display more. Love all the new features. Especially the new AI features. From my own personal perspective I think this is a perfect phone. It does everything I want it to and so much more.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone has many software issues and bugs.

I truly regret getting this phone. Pre-ordered the Galaxy S24 Ultra and it has more software issues and bugs than any phone I've ever owned. If you play mobile games, expect ever game to freeze and force crash every time after a couple minutes playing. If you watch videos on your phone, expect the screen to flicker about a quarter in from the edge in an "L" shape. I could go on. Basically a reskinned Galaxy S22 Ultra with lots of bugs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The beat sound ever from a cell phone

Everyone keeps talking about the camera and the AI functions but no one has mentioned the sound. It is INCREDIBLE!! I keep handing people my phone while playing music and everyone is blown away at how great it sounds.

The worst galaxy I ever owned. The moisture damage charger is a know issues with these phone. My phones isn't three months old. I'm already having issues.

S24 Ultra

The S24 Ultra is a good phone all around. Cameras are good, s-pen is nice for jotting notes, and the flat screen is a nice welcome. Although, I have 2 complaints. 1 is that the screen seems washed out when on the lock or home screens. All apps appear to be fine. Number 2 is the new gestures. I thoroughly enjoyed the hidden gestures on the S23 Ultra and S10. With the S24 Ultra, I often find the back and multi app view gestures to interfere with daily use. Specifically, when trying to write a note, the back gesture keeps getting triggered no matter the sensitivity. It would be nice to go back to the hidden, standard layout of previous generation of Samsung phones.
