[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO YOU NEED A TABLET? After getting the ULTRA S8, I can say with confidence, yes... YES, you do need a tablet, and this is the tablet you need. Screen size, weight feel, ergonomics, screen brightness, battery life, Samsung aesthetic, perfection in the shape of a rectangle, a window to the world wide web and all things creative. Thank you Samsung, Brava! PS I'd share a photo or 6, but you already know the greatness!

great tablet but awful keyboard. And 120hz refresh rate is NOT adaptive. DeX is super glitchy and feels like samsung has stopped supporting it.

Yes it can be TOO Big..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, I ordered this Tablet early February and couldn't wait to receive it. When I finally did, I was underwhelmed. I have an S7 and was wowed by it's size and display. I was just looking for the next great thing. Well, this isn't it. It takes two hands to hold, the display just is underwhelming in crispness, the in my order included case is a total joke (doesn't hold together well, only magnetic connect) wouldn't protect it from anything substantial, and the keyboard has a hollow action feel, just not great to type on. I've been using a Bluetooth keyboard when needed on the S7 and it's great. This Samsung option is terribly designed, and poorly executed.
If you've got an S7, keep it!

Let down by the horrendous battery life.

i traded my tab s7+ for the tab s8 ultra mainly for the larger size (i wish it was a 17 inch tablet, but 14 inches will do for now)
the tablet is excellent in most ways except for the atrocious battery life that's just about as bad as that of the tab s7+.
it's otherwise been a pleasure to use. the s pen and its unmatched features as well as samsung note are invaluable.
imho this is clearly the best tablet on the market, samsung only needs to improve the battery life and consider a 17 inch version next year.

Best Samsung Tablet To Date

The display is magnificent and the power and smoothness is a breath of fresh air compared to the competition. The keyboard cover is a must to complete the awesomeness of this tablet.
