Love this phone

In my history of buying Samsung for many years, the Samsung s21 ultra is buy for the best investment iv ever made. Quality is awesome, it's very appealing to the eye. One UI 4.0 is super smooth as well...I'm just extremely happy

I had the s20 Ultra which I thought was a great phone with great features, including the quality of the camera, and presumed that this would be an upgrade or at least similar, but boy was I mistaken. It does have many of the same features as the s20ultra, however the big issue is that most of them don't work. The functionality of the camera, especially the video mode is a random crap shoot. When taking pictures, shots would sometimes be taken, and other times you press the button, it freezes, this is also true with the video mode, where you are taking a moving video and suddenly it freezes suddenly and then the entire video is lost. There are many applications available, but once again, they would freeze and everything you have been working on is lost. The texting function is also horrible in the same way. I would be writing a text then it freezes and you have either close the messenging service or restart the phone to get back to the main screen, and everything you wrote is missing. This does not happen all the time but always at the wrong time, and has cost me much more money than the cost of the phone, time, and frustration. Please avoid this piece of expensive junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First time ever I go for 2 year old phone Note 20

Main selling point with Note 20 Ultra for me is sd card slot , all samsung phones are top notch, high specs and i love OneUi , but its not without issues- the battery life... If Apple introduces usb-c and Samsung continues not to offer SD card expantion , it is very much outperformed by Apple superior 2 day battery on Iphone 13 pro max, racking focus in cinematic mode and Magsafe. The prices are now equal so it does not feel like best buck for your money vs Apple tho the notch is still annoying and no fongerprint sensor.
Will wait for next Samsung releases in next couple years and see if they improve in battery and Sd Card support. Tesla phones are coming too , could be great too.

It's sad that this is the best phone on the market...I feel like if you went back to the Note 4 and made improvements from there, you'd have a solid phone. But instead they kept morphing the new Notes into S style phones. Bring back the flat screen, removable battery and DS card slot. Oh, and get rid of Bixby, or let me disable the button. I've been with Samsung a long time, but now I feel like I have to search for something new. I tried to buy this phone today, but the carriers only have the 128 available...with not being able to expand that with an SD card slot, I walked out the door. 128GB just won't cut it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bring back two things

I do light shows to music, so blue tooth devices puts in a 250ms lag....
so I use wired headphones, BRING BACK THE HEADPHONE JACK....and not
the added power to headphone cable, just one more thing to get lost in the car, house etc.
also, Please bring back the external memory slot.

But...
A huge reason I loved Samsung phones was the choice of having an sd card storage. This was something I bragged to my friends all the time....
But then you stopped it.
Cannot understand the reason why. But this is a huge reason that suddenly I am now looking at other phones other than Samsungs.

Don't buy s21 Ultra!!!

I bought this s21 Ultra based on POSITIVE reviews from extensive camera research. AFTER THE PURCHASE, I DISCOVER THE CAMERA IS TERRIBLE!!! Pictures with ANY movement are blurry no matter what settings I use. Focus is terrible. Your kids will be blurry and some random point in the background will be in focus. I wish I had my Pixel 2 back! S21 photos with kids in them look like they were taken with an iPhone 2. BLURRY!!! Not to mention google apps glitch! A huge waste of money. I wish I could get my money back! DON'T BUY AN S21!!!!! I would give thus product a negative review if possible!
