Love this phone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the phone since release and it's been amazing! The camera takes amazing photos and the screen is vibrant. Only downside is the non expandable memory but I got the 512gb so I'm not too worried about memory anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long used Samsung phones, but recently I was due for an upgrade, and I decided to give the new iPhone a try. Just to be fair for comparison I picked up the iPhone 12 Pro Max . I was excited to see how it compared to Samsung products, and to see what all of the craze is about iPhones in general. When I got it home immediately I found numerous things that made it clear that the iPhone 12 Pro Max wasn't even as good as older model Samsung I was trying to upgrade from. First, the camera was not even as good as my Galaxy S10 plus. It didn't take vivid pictures and was not good in lower light. Second, I'm a musician and I have a lot of music and rely on very good music players to listen to my collection. The iPhone relied heavily on the use of Apple Music, and yet when I looked for sophisticated music players on iOS and Apple App store. These two things were deal breakers, so I boxed up the iPhone 12 Pro Max, returned it to the store, and picked up the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. When I got the S21 home I was thrilled to see that it was actually a huge improvement over the S10 plus! The camera has many more shooting tools including physical lenses for close medium and distance shots, and digital effects that are out of this world. I can't believe how well S21 shoots in low light! In "Night Mode" you can essentially shoot photos where there is little or nearly no light. The camera has several options for creative photography including a "Pro" mode for those who want to adjust the camera just like if it were a professional camera. The music player I prefer to use is even better on the S21, loaded with features that allow me to play all music file formats (important to me because I prefer to use AIFF). The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the very best phone I have ever owned, and I'm certain that I will stay with the brand!
