Great phone at first them the charging issues start. Just Google the issues before your decide on a s24. My phones charging port melted and all I get is the run around. My phone is 4 months old. Zero damage to phone. They keep telling me to take it to there dealer and that it is under warranty and dealer keeps trying to charge me 136. I'm not one to complain but there is a issue with these phones
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the Galaxy S24. The Galaxy S24 offers more screen space, enhanced battery life, and greater processing power. The S24+ features QHD+ resolution, which is the highest available on a Galaxy smartphone. Additionally, our latest Vapor Chamber has been enlarged and includes an improved heat dissipation system, ensuring you can game at peak performance. We hate to see that you've had some damage to your charging port. We'd like to work with you to get this resolved. Please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can gather some additional information and help you find a resolution. We look forward to hearing from you! -Kelvin

Terrible AI, good phone in other respects

While it's significantly faster, then my previous s10, the much-advertised AI features are an enormous downgrade from previous editions. Holding the home button, instead of allowing Google Voice or a configurable assistant, can only open Circle to Search, which both is focused on visual features and which doesn't activate the mic automatically, doubling the number of taps for the same functionality. You can configure the power button, but the unremovable Gemini app fails to perform actions as simple as setting an alarm or creating a reminder. Assistant is better but is noticeably slower to load (2 sec loading time). The voice recognition feature only gets 3/4th of the words right and puts punctionation in random places.
Terrible AI features, good phone in other respects.

This phone is not giving me the reception and quality that I have experienced with samsung in the past.
Even more important is that Samsung seems to have absolutely no respect for my choices or my privacy.
I not only can't delete Samsung's store, but I can't even stop the notifications. In addition they periodically upload apps that I don't want and haven't requested.
The phone's connection to my hearing aids is sketchy and stops for no apparent reason.
The phone is very slow to upgrade the connection when I am within range of better service. I also bounce from roam to not while in the exact same place in my home.
Photo quality is not good.
Autocorrect is often just plain stupid.
I will not purchase or recommend any Samsung product ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for providing your feedback on the Galaxy S24. We understand how essential reliable performance, connectivity, and privacy are to you, and we’re here to address your concerns. For the connection to hearing aids, it may help to review the Bluetooth settings to ensure optimal performance with assistive devices. Try resetting Bluetooth settings or updating firmware for both the device and hearing aids can enhance stability. If that continues, please reach out to us at Samsung Support for additional assistance. Network connectivity challenges, such as roaming within your home, adjusting network settings, or resetting network configurations under Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings might resolve these situations, especially if you’re in a challenging coverage area. Finally, for photo quality and autocorrect adjustments, try accessing Camera Settings for enhancements and Keyboard Settings under General Management to fine-tune autocorrect to your preferences. We've added a link to help show you how to get the most out of your phone camera. We'd also like to gather some additional information regarding what you are experiencing as far as the apps uploading. Please reach out to us at Samsung Support so that we can assist you with this. If any of this persists, please be sure to reach out to us at Samsung Support. -Kelvin

Worst phone I've ever owned.
on October 8, 2024

I've been a galaxy user since the Note 1. Lo ed every device I've owned. Except this one. Worst phone I've ever had.
This phone drops calls. Has trouble sending and receiving messages half the time. It will display 5G, but doesn't open web pages most of the time. 30% of the time when I'm talking to someone they say I sound like a robot.
I know that it isn't the service provider. My wife has the same account, same plan, we could be right next to each other and she has no issues at all. Service is great. This is actually my 2nd device. The first was warrantied by the manufacturer after weeks of troubleshooting to no avail. It's a real bummer because I live galaxy phones, and this one seems like it could do a lot if only it would work right.
I'm stuck with this thing for the next 2 years. Should be a good time.. good thing I carry a company phone as well incase I need to use it.

Thank you for reaching out to us, Brandon. We greatly appreciate your feedback as we work on improvements regarding the Galaxy S24, particularly related to service challenges and dropped calls. During peak times or in busy areas, network towers can become overloaded, which may slow down mobile data access. Please ensure that your account is in good standing and that the service is active with your carrier, as some may reduce data access speeds after reaching a certain limit. To enhance your experience, we recommend manually downloading updates by navigating to Settings and selecting Software Update or System Updates, tapping “Download and install” or “Check for software updates.” If an update is available, it will begin downloading; you may need to tap “Download Now” on some devices. Use your phone or tablet normally to see if things improve. If your phone is dropping calls occasionally, it may be related to signal strength, while frequent drops could indicate a damaged or improperly inserted SIM card or concerns related to physical or liquid damage. We suggest troubleshooting steps such as rebooting your phone, performing a software update, or doing a factory reset, please refer to the attached link for additional troubleshooting options. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact Samsung Support, and we will be happy to help. -Kelvin

Atrocious from all perspectives regarding SOUND. F
on October 30, 2024
Posted by: Jv123
My old phones from 10 years ago have better sound, better mic, better headset capability, better internal recording, better recording quality, and they don't have any delay anywhere. This trash garbage phone is the most atrocious scam I've ever seen. WHY ARE YOU STILL USING THE TYPE C HEADPHONE JACK WHEN EVERYONE HATES IT AND IT DESTROYS THE PHONES FUNCTIONALITY. EVERYTHING IS DELAYED, MUFFLED AND LOW QUALITY. THE ADAPTERS DO NOT CHANGE THIS ENOUGH AND CAUSE DELAYS AND LOW QUALITY SOUND. BLUETOOTH MAKES MY EARS FEEL EXTREME PRESSURE LIKE SOME KIND OF TERRORIST WEAPON AND IT ALSO SOUNDS ATROCIOUS. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON!? THIS IS NOT EXCUSABLE. BRING BACK THE JACK. MY PHONE FROM 10 YEARS AGO IS FAR SUPERIOR.

Heart broken

I have had the s twenty for about three months now. And I am extremely disappointed. It has literally been the most disappointing phone I have ever owned. Especially for the cost, the only thing that has been impressive is the camera and the display, but only if you're watching 4K videos or movies. Aside from watching that, there's nothing impressive about it. The phone is extremely slow. It has just been a disappointment in every way.I had the s 8 for 2 years and then the s 9 for almost 5 years and i loved everything about them. The only reason that I upgraded was after years of abuse of hundreds of times of being dropped stepped on, left in the rain, dropped in water, lost in the snow, and then finally being ran over by a car on pavement.
And it still took 3 months after being ran over for the touch screen to stop reading my touch. ( still worked with a mouse) I figured it was tome to finely upgrade. So I figured as much as it broke my heart to have to get a new phone I figured I would get the best and newest version of basically the same phone I had suspecting that I would hopefully have it 4 to 5 years maybe longer. But I have been utterly disappointed. This phone doesn't even come close to comparing to s nine I used to have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
