The updates saved it, I feel like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That seems like an odd title for a review, right? What could I mean? Well, I think, if I would have made this review at this time last year, or maybe before, I'm pretty sure the review would not have been all that positive. Don't get me wrong, the hardware on the phone, the processor, camera, things like that, they were good. But, for some reason, the execution, so to speak, something seemed off. It would get hot, I mean HOT. Like, so hot it would stop charging. Apps were kinda hit and miss. It just didn't SEEM as good as the specs would suggest it should be, you know. Then it would have to update. And update again. Then again. Somewhere along the way, with those updates, someone had apparently figured out what was going on. I don't know what that something was, a combination of several things, if I had to guess. But now, it's like it's a totally different phone. I'm not sure how they managed to get so much memory into such a small device but it's INSANE how much memory this thing has. And seamless action across the apps. I play a LOT of games on here, well everywhere really but sometimes I'll forget to close one and start playing another one, even the next DAY, and I open it back up, it's still on the same screen even. Like I just paused it or something. A lot, it does that. I didn't even know that was a thing. Not to mention the insanely great pictures you can take with the camera. All I can say is, nice save, Samsung. For real, keep it up, I'm impressed.

The screen size is also a significant advantage. I find the Galaxy AI to be quite powerful and appreciate its seamless integration with the keyboard.

Galaxy S24+ has been a good phone

Apps perform better than they did with my last phone so I am able to take advantage of 5G service.
I have been impressed with the camera especially in low light situations.
Just wish I would have had it longer before the S25 was released.

Also the transition from the phone to my Galaxy Tab A9+ is very smooth and easy.

This phone has better memory and different apps
