I upgraded from an S22+ and love the up to date technology on the 24+. The camera is so much better. It does things the s22 camera just didn't. Sharper photos too.

Poor fingerprint scanner and facial recognition

I've been using S24+ for 2 months. I'm sad to say the fingerprint scanner is dreadful. It doesn't work half the time. My finger/thumb has to either be moist or warm for it to recognize it with or without a screen protector. However, I have no problems when using it to log into apps. It's only when unlocking the phone. The face recognition is also poor. It takes several seconds to recognize my face and doesn't recognize my face at all in low light conditions - unlike the rival "phone" that will unlock with Face ID in a pitch dark room. My S20 FE fingerprint scanner and speakers blow this S24+ out the park. I'm sad I spent so much.

To reduce any noise that may temporarily be generated when the screen is turned on or off, there is a 0.3-second delay before initializing the related touch module. Because of this, if you try to recognize your fingerprint as soon as you turn the screen on or off, the device may not immediately recognize it. Try again and the feature should work. It's a good new device, but in my opinion it is not the best choice; because it doesn't have available some extras, that I usually used in my last device and made me look like I'm one step back in the technology. The camera is amazing is the only ++ that I can give to this new device.
