Worst Upgrade ever

I was happy to upgrade from my S10+ but this phone is a significant down grade. I was looking for more battery life but it feels the same as the s10+ with how bad the auto brighteness drains your battery of this phone. I also didnt mind that they got rid of the SD card and Audio Jack. I just got the 256gb. The problem I have is that they took out the ANT+ support from that the S10+ had. Now all my workout devices are useless and I Can't run my workout apps on my phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung will lose a lot of consumers if it follows Apple's lead. Samsung does not offer a charger or any other accessories with the phone.

Hi Arthur. Samsung wants to minimize the impact our products have on the environment. To promote better recycling habits, we are transitioning to removing earphones and charger plugs. Samsung believes removing earphones and charger plugs from our in-box device packaging can help address the growing e-waste problem and unnecessary duplication of these items.

Avoid this phone at any cost. I have been using Samsung mobiles more than 10 years and I regret upgrading my phone to S22. This model has lot of issues and when I searched online lot of users having the same issue.
1) Android Auto crashes frequently for No Reason.
2) Google maps loses GPS signal and shows Searching for GPS continuously.

Samsung, please make sure that basic functionality works instead of adding new features.

Horrible battery. Nice camera

I've always had Samsung phones. I had to give up my S8 due to the 3G network going down. The S22 is quite heavy compared to the S8 but most newer phones are. The thing that completely disappointed me is the pathetic battery life. The S8 would last me all day even with a lot of screen time. The S22 is down to 70% just from 30 minutes of screen time. The camera is nice but super slow to take pics, especially the front camera. Overall, 2.5 stars, would not recommend to a friend. Disappointed, but I'll keep it for now.

The battery...you'll get maybe 7 hours out of it, and that's only if you have everything running at a minimum.

I bought this s22 and I have before S20 I decided return s22. I miss the vibration the s20 in my s22 i don't feel the notifications and call when was in that mode. I like more the design of s20 amd also the SD I don't know why they remove that. Only thing different is the camera in s22 but I thing the s20 is a better phone.

Thrilled about smaller size!

I've been with Samsung since the Galaxy S4 and that includes their tablets, TVs, etc. The S6E wowed me and then again with the clear screen on the S8 and even better on the S10. But then, things just got big and weird, especially with the 5G chaos and emerging WiFi6. I skipped the S20 and got the S21. Overall, I was happy. The only reason I upgraded again so soon, to the S22, was because finally it was a tad smaller instead of bigger. I want to hold my phone and operate it with one hand. If I wanted more, I'd get a Plus or a Note/Ultra. I have a tablet... I don't want a mini tablet for a phone. Overall, I like the S22. My only complaint is the battery... I don't know why Samsung takes 2 steps forward, but always 1 back as well. They should have found a way to keep the S22 it's current size but with the S21 battery. I'm sure they could have done it... I want to keep this phone for my normal 2 years, but I find myself on the charger a lot. Only thing I can think of is they improve performance/efficiency with updates. And I hope they do. Other than that, if you want slightly smaller, go S22. If size is fine and you want a tad less time on charger, find an S21.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Iphone to Note to S22 Ultra?

I've had all the Samsung Notes, but before that I had a few iPhones. I made the switch to Samsung mostly for the external storage. Now, the S22s no longer have external storage. What gives? If the next iteration of devices doesn't have external storage, I might as well switch back to Apple
