Got this 2 weeks ago. Do not like the battery life. Have not changed any phone habits.... leave in the morning for work and phone is 40percent when I get home. Old phone(lg) would last me 2 days without charging. Also don't like the key board. I swipe type and almost impossible with this phone. No headphone jack, no charger??? Last Samsung I had was the 10 and it was a way better product then. My kid still plays with it. Checked the keyboard on that and no problem...
I have tried and loved many samsung products over the years but this Samsung S22+ is the worst phone I have ever had. I have had nothing but problems with the performance, the constant ads that pop up on the home screen, the phone freezing 10 times a day. I can barely get anything done. So ,for that I would not recommend this phone.
I have been dealing with with phone for 2 months now. That's more than enough time to have giving it time to get used to it and know it's quirks. Bottom line, it sucks. I want my S20 Note back. Connectivity: The phone has terribly slow internet speeds on 5G (multiple cities on Verizon network). When switching between towers it often goes offline for a few seconds to a few minutes. Oddly enough, this does not interrupt phone calls, only data.
Battery life: Battery life is far worse than S20 Note and S7 Note. With intermittent use, the battery dies after 12 hours. Bluetooth audio drains battery 25% faster. The power usage monitoring shows all it well. I've even deleted apps that show high battery usage such as Yahoo Mail, but alas, battery still dies after about 12 hours. I now have to recharge it around noon in order to get it though the day. That's silly.
Performance: For a flagship phone, this thing is extremely poor. On the upside, the camera (especially the low light performance is excellent), and the finger print reader is a significant improvement over the S20 Note. Virtually all other aspects are in the negative category. If it were a midlevel phone, it would be satisfactory, but it isn't a midlevel phone and does not have a midlevel price. Slow transition between apps. Messages crashes regularly. In fact, many preinstalled mainstream apps crash frequently. (Messages, Maps, Chrome). Even the Samsung pre-installed app "My Files" crashes every time certain functions are used.
Overall, despite having the "top of the line" Samsung flagship S22 Ultra, I cannot wait to be ride of this thing. Great work guys, great work.
I hate Apple, I am a Galaxy S fan, but everything I love about Galaxy they just imitate Apple and take it away. No expansion memory so adaptator No phone jack so adaptator No curve screen Model like iPhone I change from s9 to s22, and they take several steps back, how come?? A bit faster, and a better camera but all the rest??? You can do better than this, this thing are spensive?
OMG I Had the phone 1 day and it requested foactory reset after I imported all of my data. It locked asking for a password even though all I set was the pattern. I hard reset and it did it again a day later. I called samsung and they said the phone was defective and would need to be replaced. I took it to A T and t and they said Samsung had to replace but did another hard reset since I work in Healthcare and cannot do without phone for 2 days!!.... well it locked again and I finally got the phone replaced at the store. Now I see another request for a factory reset again!! I set pattern face and password and I am waiting in dread... I have been Samsung for ever but now I may have to go to the dreaded IphonIPhone!! I am so sad
The new phone features have changed to far from other older devices. It doesn't work or isn't compatible with what I used to own.

I bought my S22 Ultra three days ago and realized after only one day that I should have listened when I was advised not to purchase this phone as yet (until the various issues were resolved). I regret not taking that advice. The battery power is not good and I had to charge two to three times a day, even after fully charging the day I bought it. Today, I will just leave the phone on the charger; that's less stress. My other issue is that it takes quite a while to send text messages and even LONGER to send just one picture. Unless folks are in desperate need and really want this S22 Ultra phone (no matter what), I think it is better to wait a little while before purchasing.
