[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the S23+ when it first came out last year. I pre-ordered it and was given and upgrade to 512gb storage space. This is my 5th Galaxy S device, having the S5, S6, S7, and S10 beforehand. It was only natural for me to get the S23 because I like the product and will continue to buy the new models every few years.
I use the phone as my everyday personal device. I use it to make calls, text message, browse the internet, take pictures, read emails, watch movies and TV, play games, create calendar events, create reminders, make purchases through various apps, and everything else a smart phone is capable of these days.
I think its a great phone with tons of nice features. The camera is phenomenal. The screen and 120hz refrseh rate is great. The storage space is more than enough. I like the quick settings pull down menu to show all the various buttons that can be customized to my liking. I like the secure folder to keep certain things more secure.
The only two complaints I have is I wish the battery was either bigger / the phone had better battery life. Overnight, when the phone is idle, it still loses about 1% per hour, which seems high to me, but maybe it isn't. From what I have read, it is about average for most smart phones out there in the market. The other is I wish it had a headphone jack. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one.
But great phone and I will continue to buy Samuang Galaxy S phones.

Fast, sleek , great screen , customizable & more

5g is fast and makes a lot difference from my older S9+ phone. I like the customizable screen.
Thsi S23+ phone is attractive, sleek stylish and can shoot and record videos in a hi resolution.
High recommended.

Solid phone wish they had guest mode

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung phones are great with good build quality, reception, battery life, and decent camera but some of the software features hold it back. No guest mode is kind of a deal breaker for my uses.

Love my Galaxy S23+

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My S23+ is a workhorse. I use it for work, play and taking pictures of the family. Battery life is great, lasts all day. The camera is excellent, taking family pictures are amazing. And in my down time, the games I play are fast, vivid and definitely entertaining.
I've been a galaxy user since the S2 and haven't looked back. My wife's iPhone doesn't compare.

Lack of build quality compared to previous Galaxy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've carried the Galaxy phone since the very first model and for a while they were getting better and better. While this phone does have all of the top features, it lacks in build quality. The screen scratches more easily than previous models and the Samsung OEM cases do not protect from drops like with previous models. The aluminum trim scratches easily as well. Every Galaxy I have carried before looked almost brand new when I would go to trade them in 24 (sometimes 36) months later. The Galaxy 23 won't have that same durability.
In terms of performance, the phone performs adequately. I like the camera software and the UI customization options. Hopefully Samsung can return to the previous build qualities of their Galaxy phones before the pandemic. If not, I'm afraid I may have to consider other options for the first time when it comes time to renew.
