Back is REALLY slippery
on September 17, 2022

I've had this phone since the day out came out. If you're not a phone case person like me you'll have to suffer from how slippery the back of this phone is. My solution was to put a screen protector on the back. This is really the only complaint I have about the phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great features, no SD

I bought this a few months ago and I mostly love it.
As someone who creates social media content, I absolutely cannot stand that it doesn't have a micro SD card slot and I have to either pay for cloud storage or spend a ton of time dumping all of the files onto a PC or backup hard drive.
Samsung, please add micro sd slots back to your phones, this is horrible for those of us that use our phones to create content.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible camera
on September 14, 2022

Blurry photos, no sports mode. I use my camera more than any other feature on my phone. pictures are often of sports/children and car races. My S9 took much better pics. Samsung dropped the ball on this one.
I'm extremely dissatisfied with this phone.

Really good phone!

I mean, first off, I had an A52 5g.. While that phone is "OK" it wasn't great.. I had many issues, phone calls especially (speaker phone wouldn't work sometimes, people couldn't understand me when using it, then sometimes I would have audio quality problems as well and this phone was only a year old.) So I FINALLY was able to afford a much higher quality phone and I am incredibly impressed. It does suck that it doesn't have expandable storage & it does not come with an adapter plug but even with those things missing - its generally a much better phone for me personally then what I've had many times before. It was worth every penny! ONLY other thing I'd say that is a bit frustrating is finding the right screen protector.. which with a curved screen (this is my first smartphone in this style) seems to be pretty difficult. But if you've had lower end phones most or all of your life, this phone is a huge step.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it

I have been an apple person since the iPhone 4. This was a huge decision for me. What stole my heart was the camera. I love most everything about this phone. Not big on Microsoft but I was tired of the big iPhone getting so heavy so I decided to switch. So far I do not regret it at all. I love that there are things u can do on it that u can't on iPhone. That's the android part. But over all I am in love with the phone. It's a pretty big difference but I am very happy. The pic below I took on this phone. CANT DO THAT WITH AN APPLE. I have tried android before but was using the lower end phones, I would hate it so I would go back. Get u a hig end phone and u won't go back. Even got my best friend to switch to the ultra 22, we are huge camera people.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An ok upgrade.

Bought this phone on August, not because I wanted it but becase my phone got stolen. I had a note 10+ and i was happy with it. If you have a note 10+ or s10+ or above... Save your money, they just did a few upgrades that are not worth paying the money. Save your money. The phone feel a little heavy on the hand. It does heats up. The camera is probably a little better but not much of a diferent (this is if you take regular pics like me). This phone is like having the galaxy s21 but w/out the plastic arround the back cameras.
It is dum that Samsung wants to upgrade the phone and the only difference is a few aspects, they change the pen to the left (annoying) and the power and volume buttons to right (blah).
I wish LG would have put more RAM and memory to their phones, wouldn't mind paying more, because i kind of like their LG Velvet and what to say about the LG Wing...

Just Wow! Then again I replaced a much older phone

The Good: Don't know where to start. The screen, the pen, the quality and loudness of sound, the battery life. the response.
The Bad: My house is marginal for cell signal and absolutely no improvement with this phone over my seven year old previous phone. So lots of dropped calls at home. The "automatic switching" to WiFi doesn't seem to work properly - it did at the start but fumbling around with a tech support person with various resets of networks seemed to have caused it to stop - even though the options are clearly chosen correctly.
Be prepared to spend a lot of time going through the countless options to get the phone working as you wish. I am a minimalist, my idea of wallpaper is a black screen. Lots of apps that I probably would like to remove, features that I am unsure about - there is a limit to how much time one devotes to this task.
Recommendations? I don't know if I am the only one who thinks this, but I have a black phone and old eyes. Spotting and feeling the two switches on the camera body and the switch on the S-pen are near impossible. If I have a black phone, how difficult would it be to make the buttons gray, or a colorful burgundy. Does everyone else really find it easy to use the small black button on the skinny black S-pen?
I have the 1TB version, very expensive, but I am very happy with the purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!
