I've been so thrilled since I got this phone! It's fast, smooth, great features, and the camera is incredible. I still haven't tried everything. If I had one complaint it's that the battery life doesn't seem to be extended like they said this new one would be, but honestly I've always loved Samsung and the battery is operating about the usual. It looks and works terrific. Also the customer service rep who helped me during the pre-order after the reveal went above and beyond!

Beast of a phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have it for about a month now and the battery life is amazing. Based on my usage I get around 20h of screen time. Charges is 1.5h. Phone looks and feels premium! Camera quality is mind blowing, especially the amount of zoom it has. Screen resolution is amazing. Watch movies in 3088 x 1440. Refresh rate of 120 but can be changed to 60 to save battery life. An overall beast of a phone, overkill for an average user. The one thing that I don't like, is how they moved to back swipe bottom from bottom right corner to the sides of the phone. So when swiping through content I accidentally back out of aps a lot.

Best phone I've ever owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first smartphone was the Galaxy S5. My next phone was the LG V10, then LG V30, then OnePlus 7t Pro McLaren Edition.
While I do miss having replaceable batteries and a headphone jack. This phone is probably the best phone I've ever had.
Understandably with updated technology but it since leaving the Samsung Ecosystem for the LG V10 I've missed the mature software and feature integration that Samsung provides.
This phone feels like a warm welcome home. And although never owning a Note series phone I have always wanted one. And now thankfully they rolled the Note features into the Ultra line of the S series!
Samsung has announced a new repair program and although it is definitely a step in the right direction they will start with the last generation of the S series phones so hopefully they will add the current one soon.
I've had this phone for a few months and it is fast, has little bloatware (basically just the Samsung base apps instead of stock android apps), and has a great feeling to it.
There is a CPU/GPU throttling issue going around. I can't speek for every app but I've only had performance throttling while playing a relatively intensive game while charging my phone to keep from overheating.
TLDR: If you have a phone at least 2 years old it is definitely worth considering the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. I love it!
