Gets hot,using camera zoom it takes bad photos like the moon and stars for instance also camera switches lenses making it almost impossible to use with a telescope.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect but camera Overhyped

I have been a Samsung Galaxy user since the s6. I upgraded from the s10+ and the difference is amazing and significant. I have to say the clarity of the screen is insane. Hold it next to an older Galaxy and you will be shocked by the difference. I haven't used the s-pen much, but the latency is almost zero and it is the first pen device that actually feels like you are writing with a real pen. Impressive.
As for the camera, because of all the hype, I was expecting something overly spectacular that was going to wow me. Although the photos are great, my eyes can't really notice any extreme difference in quality. I will say that the colors I am getting in my photos are more realistic than any other phone camera I have ever used. I have taken some 8k video, but don't have an 8k monitor to view it on. I have noticed some delay in 8k replay on the phone, perhaps closing all background apps and changing some of the performance settings will resolve this?
Otherwise this phone is a performance and battery beast. I have had mine on full performance mode and keep the screen brightness high. If I am paying for a flagship model, I am not going to throttle it to save a little battery life. I have not once run it below 15% and this is after a 4 hour drive using navigation and my nieces stealing it to play Roblox for 2 hours!
I would recommend this to a friend!

phone does not match the price tag.
upgrading from note8
Note 8 screen was better, it was slimmer, fingerprint unlock worked every time, worked without lag for 3 years.
This phone is lagging freezing screen feels weird
Fingerprint sensor works about 60%of the time
screen is already scratched even though it supposed to have better scratch resistance than note 8
Note 8 lasted almost a year before i noticed scratches on it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Honestly I got super worried reading reviews after my husband told me he swapped my s20+ with s22ultra ..it came and it sat in the box for days but I've been using it now for a couple weeks and it's so much better...battery lasts me all day and I use my phone alot music games GPS photos. Camera is far superior and it's nice to have a stylus back. I got 256gb cuz I like to keep a lot of junk on my phone and no SD card is a set back. I've been a samsung user for about 10 years my husband likes to have the latest phones he swapped from the iPhone 13pro (tried iPhone for a year and hated it) and he is much happier being back with samsung too. Iphone does take a better photo though.
But more than anything. I'm a phone dropper (also a phone misplacer)..every samsung I've had ive shattered or cracked the screen. I have the samsung flip cover on this s22 nothing special and I dropped it FOUR times today onto pavement and shockingly it's still entirely intact. Getting an otterbox though not taking any more chances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wha a huge disappointmen in every aspect

It has never been so hard to take a shot the auto focus is a mess, worse face recognition ever, for heavy gamers this cellphone overheat way too much and the display sensitivity is below average, even with great connectivity to any internet most of the heavy games like call of duty will lag from time to time making it really annoying I can keep going with my review way more but this is enough for never ever try a Samsung cellphone again is not worth half of the price

Worst phone ever

Worst phone ever!
It's been 4-6 months with my 2 phones and mine stopped working 4 months in and had to get a replacement. Same phone just "" new. Trash phone still won't work and now just tonight my husband's phone went to reset and never turned back on so now he needs a phone. Both were bought same time. So now what 4 phones?? DO NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!

Really awesome! Some personal preference issues

This phone is fantastic! Beautiful build, amazing camera (the 10x zoom is SUPER detailed and clear), great speed, but there is one problem that is just personal preference. You're not able to separate the general text message sound from the main notification sound. You can set different sounds for single people and groups, but not for receiving a text from anybody else.
This is a big deal, just for me (I'm not sure anybody else likes this), and I'm really hoping Samsung brings back the general SMS tone setting. Thank you! (The phone is still fantastic in almost every other way)
