Its a galaxy, it aint gonna be terrible

Its a galaxy, its certainly a good phone. It will do considerably more than ill ever use it for. Major props to samsung for how incredibly easy it was to switch phones; apps, data, even the layout.
I could hardly tell the difference between this and my old 21, or note 8, or 5... etc.
That said, the premium samsung commands for storage space is rediculous. Memory is unbelievavly cheap, so why is this phone nearly 2x the cost of a 256? Seriously, just give us an sd slot back

I have a galaxy note 10 + because there are no options for an SD card. The phones are too much anyway. I will never lease a phone or buy a better one for lack of storage. Huge mistake and I find it being greedy, like apple. Very disappointed 😞 That feature alone made Samsung unique.

Perfect, EXCEPT No Micro SD Slot :(

I love everything about this phone, except for the lack of a micro SD card slot. I tried to hold out for the day that the slots make a comeback (probably not happening) but my S20 Ultra finally gave up the ghost. I have an unlocked 1tb model and 1tb is just not enough storage. I don't always have access to a signal (cell, WIFI, orotherwise), and the additional space would be a big deal for me. Phone speed, features, battery, screen, everything else - STELLAR.

I Really Like and Enjoy my S23 Ultra but.....

I purchased my S23 Ultra back in February 2023, and after using it for approximately 8 months I believe I can give my honest opinion on it. I gave it "4 out of 5" stars because it lacks expandable memory (a feature that I felt made Samsung Galaxy S's superior to the iphone). The lack of expandable memory in my opinion is only the real major flaw with the S23. I don't like storing photos/videos on my phone, as there is a possibility that the phone might get damaged, and the photos/videos would be gone for good. I don't use the "cloud" because I simply don't trust it. I also like to watch/listen to movies, music, and audiobooks when I travel and storing them on a Micro SD card frees up space on the phones internal memory. Using a Micro SD card also prevents the phone from slowing down when the internal memory is full/almost full (my mother has this issue with her phone with all the apps she has/uses).
Other than the lack of expandable memory I really enjoy my S23 Ultra. I like the larger screen, quick recharge, ease of use, and the camera on it is really amazing. I know there are some who like the S-pen, but for me it is useless as I don't even use it. I would rather have the expandable memory, than the S-pen.

What a Joke

Samsung took away all the great features of the S line. Removed waterproof rating, removed 3.5mm headphone jack, removed barometer, removed SD card slot and replaced it with an S pen that was never needed or wanted. What a joke of a phone that is about $800 too expensive. It's sad that the S10+ has more sensors and better display. What a joke. Literally garbage now. Bring back the 3.5mm, SD card slot, removable batteries, digital compass and barometer, and ditch the stupid pen.

Hi Scott... We appreciate you taking the time to review the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. At Samsung, we value all feedback as we continue to lead the charge on innovation. The S Series devices are not waterproof, but water resistant. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has an IP68 rating. The rating is based on lab test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. I've attached an article that goes into further detail. If the S Pen is not to your liking, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ might be a good choice. I've attached a link for you to check it out below. There is no headphone jack, however it is compatible with a USB-C Headphone Jack adapter, which lets you connect devices that use a standard 3.5 mm audio plug to your USB-C devices. Type-C Headphones also would work perfectly. I’ve attached links below for them, as well as Samsung Support. Do reach out if you need additional assistance. Have been using about 2 weeks. Has a lot of bugs. It's a software issue and will be solved. I love the device in general. It is perfect with its imperfections.
