Micro SD Slot??..

I've had this phone for a while now and it's okay... Except no version of this phone has a micro sd slot. Which is a really big deal, I have a galaxy note 9 with a 500 gig chip in it that I would normally just switch over to my new phone. But instead I had to go invest in this dual USB- A / USB - C thumb drive and manually transfer all that content, and even after that I have to plug it into the phone every time I wanna view that content. Yes I am aware of the cloud, tangible backup is always best. Always. Well roughly 372 gigs worth was transfered because the phone has 128 in deck, minus the system OS and bloat wear. Definitely, definitely bring that micro sd slot back. Every year it seems like the smart phone industry just deletes another feature then tries to tell us that it's for the best. Better is more options, not less. Other than that the phone itself isn't bad.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am happy with the phone, but I wish if it was flat screen with a better battery life like iPhone 13 pro max.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I main reason I bought a Samsung is because you get a SD Card slot now that it's gone I have no reason to buy any further. I need it for content creation.

Lacking in several key areas
on March 6, 2022

I received my S22 Ulta on pre-order and was super excited. It is a beautiful phone, However there are some issues that are causing problems.
The biggest problem is that there is no way in the network settings to tell the phone to default to 4G. So when I'm driving in areas with poor 5G coverage, my music and navigation sound like I'm listening to an AM radio station driving out of range. I'm worried if I'm really in the woods I will be completely offline.
The second problem is battery life isn't really better than the 2 year old Note 10+ I traded in! My battery isn't even making it through the day, especially if I do a video call of any type.
The third problem is the sound right out of the phone speaker is terrible. Even at max volume it sounds muffled and tinny.
The last problem, that I know isn't 100% Samsung's fault, is that some apps are having issues. For example, I can't see anyone's Bitmoji on SnapMap. Other people reported this as well.
The cameras are awesome, but I don't think they're way better than the S21 equivalent.
Cons: Network customization and connection Battery life Sound Compatibility
Pros Has an S pen Cameras are awesome
Overall, at this moment I wish I had stuck with my Note 10±! Bummer.

I have had this phone for 5 months. I absolutely dislike it. I'd rather have my S10 back! Problems: frozen screen, inability to reatart phone, probs w bluetooth, probs relieving messages, faded lock screen & freezes the phone. Cant restart with button & when you can, you cant hit the restart button as the screen just closes. Issues with battery/charging...i wish it was just a lemon, but others have had these issues too. And the health ck says its fine. All updates done. I wish i could give it back & get another type. Like the Note20.

Hi EpikMarie, We appreciate you taking the time to review the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to innovate and improve on the design and functionality of our products. There is another way to switch off your device besides the side buttons. Swipe down from the top of the screen. Swipe down a second time and press the ‘power’ icon in the top right corner next to the search icon. However, you can also go into Settings> Advanced features>Side Key and from there you are able to change the side key from Wake Bixby to Power off menu. Right below that is also a guide on How to power off your phone. I've attached some links that should help with the connectivity, battery, and your device freezing and restarting. Also, it sounds as if your device is still under warranty, so I've added the link for them as well. Please reach out to them, and or our warranty department as needed. Sound Issues - Speakers Static Sound Issues

The new S22 ultra has a major flaw in its speaker / sound department. There's a static "crackling" sound issue with high volume usage and via bluetooth. Please fix this issue, Samsung. The new S22 Ultra sound is worse than my old S21+

very poor performance with scrolling Poor camera stability (phone restarts sometimes while in camera app} Inconsistent fps during video calls for no reason. unless you reset camera by hitting software flip button or wide angle button. same bug as s21u. jittery scrolling. The march update did not resolve any of my complaints. The phone has been on january firmware since just about 2 days ago which is pretty crazy. I honestly couldn't see myself recommending this product to anyone. I feel like a beta tester and this not the experience i wanted at all.

I miss my s21 ultra The battery life sucks! The phone doesn't last through the day. My s21 would last at least 1.5 days or more doing the same things. Also the speaker is muffled and sounds fuzzy. Super disappointing bc I love Samsung products.
