I bought this phone back in November because I have always had a love for the Galaxy phones. Hearing so many good things about this phone had me intrigued a lot. Wanted to try out all the functions. Always loved how fully customizable Galaxy phones were especially when I had the s3 back in the day. And I must say I am in love and impressed with it. And I'm still learning new things about this phone the more I play around with it. Thank you Samsung for a dope phone and oh yea I love the S pen to by the way 😁😁
I would recommend this to a friend!

I switched from Iphone12 pro plus to the Ultra S22. Overall the phone is amazing and out does my iPhone. Unfortunately I am giving it 3 stars because I've never seen a battery life drain so quickly. I have enabled all battery saving power options but it made no change. My iPhone I could read and play all day on it with still 30% by bed time. I've already charged this phone twice.

No SD card slot

It's a shame that Samsung has chosen to not a an SD slot for expandable memory. This is one of the biggest reasons why most people buy Samsung phones.
Unfortunately this move will end up costing Samsung customers. I know several people who left Apple phones and now you have joined them. I hope in the future you bring the SD slot back.
Regards A loyal customer

Good but far from perfect.

The good: The processing speed of this phone is second to none. Don't let anyone fool you, the size matters. This is a nicely designed phone with large screen and substantial weight to it that can be used a self defense item when you find yourself alone in the dark trying to find your car on a large parking lot. The settings and customization is vast as you can adjust whatever you can think of on this phone. The display and camera is simply second to none. The not-so- good: We purchased two of these phones, one for me and one for my wife (her is a Note 20 Ultra which i am assuming is the same exact unit as S22 this year). First thing that shocked me is how easily they break. After one week of ownership we dropped the phone on the concrete from our toddlers stroller pocket and the screen cracked across the entire phone. The phone was in the case and the drop was not that bad. So much for the super tough gorilla glass or whatever Samsung is advertising on these flagship phones that cost an arm and a leg. Fixing the cracked glass on this phone costs approximate like an average brand new smartphone. We fixed it once and decided to buy this super tough case that is commercialized all over the internet (i will leave the brand name out) and what do you know, even with this wonder case the phone was not able to survive a two feet drop on the garage floor from the seat of a sedan car. The display glass broke severely and the back cracked across. What in the world is going on with the super tough glass advertised on these phones?? Well, back to repair shop and this time the price was even higher because they had to replace the rear cover that supposedly has the battery block on it. Enough about the toughness of this phone, its clear enough that this phone is not tough at all, as real life shows, not well controlled laboratory tests. My second concern is the battery life. Why in the world the battery only lasts one day under normal use? By "one day" i mean morning to evening. I never play games, just check my emails, messages and not even have a social media account of any kind to be always on it. Battery needs a lot of improvement. But this last one takes the cake and i think is actually comical. I opened the box and there was no charger. Seriously?? In this price range you cant include a cheap charger?? I get it, you spent all these money to develop an unbreakable glass and long lasting battery but, how is one supposed to charge this flagship phone when a charger is not included? I strongly recommend buying warranty with these flagship phones as real life experience shows they are extremely expansive to repair and they are simply not durable enough to survive real life tests.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my phone for about 2 weeks now and all the features are exceptional! It even has a pen like my Note 9 which is very handy. However, the only con to the phone is the vibration on it. Not strong at all! I've done extensive research to see if it could be made go harder. No luck. I work in aircraft and depend on the intensity of the vibration for notifications or calls. It gets extremely loud in production. Other than that particular issue, the phone is spot on with everything else. Especially the camera!! If vibration intensity is not an issue for you, then the S22 Ultra is the phone for you!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

the s21 ultra has much better quality in many things, one of them is the sound, the sound of this s22 ultra is very poor, weak and low. the battery lasts less, I really do not recommend that you change from s21 ultra to s22 ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Galaxy S7, then S9, then S21 Ultra, and now the S22 Ultra and I was quite happy with the S21, and the S22 is basically the same thing but with built-in S-Pen, which is fantastic for writing, btw. Slightly worse battery life than the S21, but disabling adaptive 1-120Hz screen extends it a bit. Fast, responsive, bright contrasty screen. No complaints. 256GB version is better if you like to take a lot of photos; 128 gets full a little fast. Small circular notch is much better than Apple phones right now (though iPhone 14 should make a smaller one)
