[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was filming a little bit of a concert and the people behind me started freaking out because the view through my phone was better than in person. They begged to know what phone.

My first s series Galaxy was the 20 Ultra and I had zero complaints it didn't have any cons in my personal opinion. Unfortunately I couldn't say the same about the 21,now that I have the s22 Ultra I have the very same one complaint from the previous version. No upgradable storage. So close to a no hitter but that is how it goes. 4 out of 5

Battery life sub-par

Battery life could be better. Barely get by a day with moderate use. Camera is great. Performance good. Like a longer battery life.

I had high hopes. The screen is of course amazing. The S Pen is a nice trick but I don't use it enough to miss it. The design isn't familiar to the S family, but we knew that going in. What we didn't know was how awful the battery is. Like many reviews, I can confirm that this phone won't make it through most of the day on a single charge. Like,, not even half the day. That's very disappointing considering it is an incremental upgrade. Also, despite what others say, the camera isn't any better than the S21.

Fresh Out of Box, Front Face Camera Does Not Work

I tried flipping the camera to front facing after taking a bunch of photos with the rear cameras and it said "Warning Camera failed." and says that every time. I actually was never able to see the front facing camera work. They also apparently further throttled certain activities on the phone after reviews were released. Most expensive phone I've ever purchased and somehow also the worst. Will be requesting a full refund.

S22 ultra graphite

I was bummed about the wait but honestly it was worth it! The graphite Samsung exclusive is beautiful I fell in love with Samsung messing with my girlfriends Note 20 ultra so I ditched my I phone and got the s21 ultra and just got the s pen with the case. It wasn't bad with the case but I really wanted the square look of the Note and I didn't want the added bulk of a s pen case. I was pumped when the s22 ultra was officially announced and I hurried and purchased the white one without even looking at the other colors I saw the graphite a week later on the website and I canceled my original order. The wait was longer but I'm so glad I waited. If you have the s21 ultra and are thinking about upgrading I personally feel it's worth it. It just feels like the s21 is an unfinished hybrid. However, only do this if you have the money to blow on a phone because performance wise not much difference my decision was primarily about esthetics.

Not a flagship screen, scratched and cracked!

I pre-ordered this after hearing about the specs. On paper, it's a beast, daily operations... it's... meh. like any flagship these days.
The problem I have, and have seen from others, is the screen! I noticed a few nicks and scratches after only a short time of use and then I knocked it off the coffee table, in a Samsung case... and it cracked. A two foot drop and it cracked. My son (7) has a cheap Moto that has been abused, not one crack.
Until Samsung gets better glass, I can't recommend the S22 Ultra! If you do buy one GET A GOOD CASE!

PLEASE PLEASE do something about this battery life. This phone cost too much for the battery not to last a full day without a charge. Plus the color is not RED looks more pink. The pictures are very deceiving..I only got RED because it's my favorite color but am not going through the hassle of changing it. I NEVER do reviews but I had to say something about this..
