Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Review – Finally the One t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been eyeing the Galaxy Z Flip series since the Flip 3, but I hesitated to purchase one due to concerns about durability. However, with the Flip 6, I finally feel confident that Samsung has built a solid, reliable foldable phone. The hinge feels more durable than ever, and the overall design gives me the reassurance I was looking for.
One feature I really appreciate is the built-in screen protector. Over time, I’ve noticed small bubbles forming along the crease, but they’re easy to smooth out. It’s a minor issue, but something to keep in mind.
Ecosystem: One of my favorite things about the Flip 6 is how seamlessly it integrates with the Samsung ecosystem. Features like Samsung DeX allow me to convert my Galaxy Tab S9 into a mini-computer setup, making it super convenient for work—especially when dealing with spotty internet connections. Plus, 5G performance is solid, so I don’t have to worry about connectivity when I’m on the go.
Ecosystem: One of my favorite things about the Flip 6 is how seamlessly it integrates with the Samsung ecosystem. Features like Samsung DeX allow me to convert my Galaxy Tab S9 into a mini-computer setup, making it super convenient for work—especially when dealing with spotty internet connections. Plus, 5G performance is solid, so I don’t have to worry about connectivity when I’m on the go.
Another feature I love is how effortlessly I can cast content to my Samsung Smart TV (NQ85). Whether it's videos, photos, or even games, I can just select what I want on my phone and send it straight to my TV.
Final thoughts: I’ve always been a huge supporter of Samsung’s software and ecosystem, and the Flip 6 fits perfectly into that experience. If I had the budget, I’d love to complete the setup with a Samsung laptop—but that’s something I’ll have to save up for.

I love it!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone so much. There are so many seamless actions across apps. I especially love circle to search and translate. I love the form factor and portability of this phone, although the folding nature does make it more fragile. I just treat mine with extra care and use the Samsung silicone case. I also LOVE the camera features. Being able to take a selfie with the main camera is game changing. I love the tripod mode to take picture with friends and family easy, and I love to take pictures with the preview on the cover screen so they can see how they look. My only slight negative is the battery charging speedy. Other then that, I'm so happy I got this phone

The Flip 6 did not meet my expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my phone for everything. Calling, texting, social media, college courses, banking, shopping, EVERYTHING! So I need a phone that can switch seemlessly between apps without freezing or lagging. The Flip 6 is great for those days you are doing 10+ things at once. And the convenience of it fitting in my back pocket, when it's closed, makes it even better! Yes, it's a good phone with some helpful features.
However, I want to give an honest review so... Based on my own experience, I would not recommend the Galaxy Z Flip series. I've owned the Flip 3,4, and currently own the Flip 6 and I've dealt with the same issues with each of them.
1.) The screen goes out where they fold. It starts with a tiny line and before you know it, it is unresponsive to touch, then it eventually goes black. I've had the screen replaced on my Flip 6 once already & the line is already back again! It's not even a year old! Also, do not open or close it during cold weather, the fold shatters if it's cold.
2.) You are limited to what you can do without having to open it. Very limited, which defeats the purpose of the outer screen and being able to close it.
3.) The camera isn't very impressive either. The picture quality is not very good. Very disappointing.

Screen went black after 7 months

I loved using this phone. It was great. Especially being able to tuck it in any pocket or a tiny purse.
Unfortunately, after only 7 months, the open screen went black. The phone still works, i can feel it vibrate while the phone is open but it won't turn on. I tried all of the tricks and techniques on the internet and nothing worked. The authorized fixit dealership was no help and the only way to get it fixed is to mail it to Samsung and because of my work, I just can't be without a phone for any period of time.
Had to get a new phone but since I can't get into the old one, I can't use Smart Switch to transfer my data. I've been able to get most of it from the cloud but I lost almost all of my pictures over the years. Yes, they are also on the cloud but I have to download each one and create new albums.
I lost a few other apps that didn't transfer over that had important information needed.
Some people have this phone and never have any issues. Just do your research.
