very bad experience

This is the worst phone I've ever seen. Every year I pay a lot of money for Samsung devices, but this year was the worst. I bought the phone for my wife and after 2 months without any falls or bumps, the screen turned off. I had to wait 15 days to send the device to Texas to be repaired, something illogical when they should replace it with a new one. I will never buy a folding phone again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't buy it!

I have had this phone for less than a year. I use the folding feature as little as possible. First time it quit charging. This time I have a line at the hinge on my screen. Now it just went dead. I am sending it back in for the second time. I would not recommend this phone for anyone. One of the worst investments I ever made!

This is my fourth Flip model. I was pleased with version 5 but impulse purchase kicked in with a good offer from T-Mobile. I am glad I upgraded. The phone has a more solid feel and looks better. I am not a techy, so I was probably not using all functionality of front display on version 5. However, this model front display works very well and is easy for me. You will not be disappointed with this upgrade
