[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Panasonic SC-BMAX5 Bluetooth Party Speaker is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to amplify their events with high-quality sound and an engaging visual experience. Its audio performance is outstanding, delivering a powerful 75W output with dual woofers and tweeters that produce rich, clear sound. The bass boost mode adds a deep, punchy quality to the audio, making it perfect for lively parties or casual listening.
One of the standout features is its versatility. The speaker supports Bluetooth, USB, AUX, and even guitar or microphone inputs, making it ideal for karaoke or impromptu jam sessions. Adding to the party atmosphere is the dynamic light show, featuring seven colors and twelve lighting patterns that sync seamlessly with the music, creating a captivating experience for everyone.
In terms of design, the SC-BMAX5 is sleek and functional. Its built-in handle and long-lasting rechargeable battery (offering up to nine hours of playtime) make it incredibly portable, allowing you to take the party anywhere. The sturdy construction ensures durability, and the premium materials give it a reliable, high-quality feel.
Overall, the Panasonic SC-BMAX5 combines impressive sound, versatile features, and a visually engaging design, making it a fantastic investment for music enthusiasts and party hosts alike. This speaker delivers on every promise, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Best speaker ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is the most impressive I have ever owned. For starters, no video can show the outstanding sound quality it has. The bass hits just right, without sounding like a jumbled mess of sound waves. It is definitely loud enough for almost any party or gathering, indoors or out. It not only has a port to use a microphone, but also one to play guitar on it like an amp, and sounds fairly decent at that.
The colors can be turned off, or settings changed for the lights to dance differently. The speaker can also be laid on its side rather than standing straight up for the “boombox” look.
If you’re worried about the plug not fitting your outlets, don’t worry, it came with what seems every major power adapter. I love that I can use it as a plug in or wireless. I didn’t calculate the battery life but I just charged it for the first time in about a week with mild/moderate usage.
We’re also planning on purchasing more, since they can be connected to play the same thing. My daughter’s birthday is coming up and it’s going to be time to par-tay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this portable speaker! It is relatively easy to set up and turn on. I had to charge it before using it, but there are no issues with Bluetooth connection and the buttons are straightforward. The sound quality is not bad at all! I love the cool light feature and can see myself bringing this around to beach and park parties. Easy to carry with the handle in the back and the material feels durable. Love that there’s a mic aux input so karaoke is next to try!

Underwhelmed YIKES
on April 23, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m just a girl who loves music, and I had high hopes for this speaker—especially given the price tag. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see so many cords for the different voltage levels. I fully charged it before using it for the first time, but I was really disappointed with the battery life. I got maybe 3 hours of playtime, and that was without blasting the music.
As far as portability, it’s decent—it does have a handle, which I appreciated. But overall, I’d choose my portable JBL or Bose speaker any day. The sound quality was subpar in comparison. I had to mess around with the different modes just to make it sound decent because, at first, it was screechy and unpleasant.
Personally, I wouldn’t purchase this and I received it as a gift for review, especially not for the hefty price.
