Love the custom colors, everything is great

I bought this for my husband's birthday. I made a custom image for it, and it came out beautifully! Exactly how it was displayed on the shop page, the colors came out true to image. It's super portable, has good sound, and while we haven't put it through anything rough I have high hopes for it's durability. I like the carry handle and the buttons are nice and large. Super easy to connect to the phone.

I purchased a personalized JBL Charge 6 and it came out perfectly! I used a personal photo along with some of the patterns they offer. Im very happy with the way the photo showed on the speaker. I have other JBL speakers so I knew it would sound great as well so this review was more so aimed at how good the custom speaker turned out.

Garbage app!

I bought the Charge 6 a week ago. The speaker itself is great, but the app that is required to unlock all the features of this speaker is GARBAGE! It never connects the first time. You have to restart the speaker or your phone to get the app to work. The app is the only way to check battery level and adjust EQ. JBL, please fix this app!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on our JBL Charge 6. Please try the following steps that may fix the issue. First, open the app, clear the cache, and then uninstall the app from your phone. Next, go to your phone's Bluetooth settings and forget or unpair your headphones/speaker. After that, reboot your phone twice, this is an important step that completely clears out any hidden leftover files. While the phone is restarting, reset your headphones/speaker, then pair them back to your phone via Bluetooth and play some music to confirm a stable connection. Finally, reinstall the app, open it, and allow all requested permissions so the app can detect your device and work properly. Please contact our customer support for further assistance.

Good but not great

Bought a personalized JBL Charge 6 because I didn't like the large JBL logo on the regular version. Plus, I was able to pick the color I liked best. Sound is good but the mono audio doesn't compare to stereo audio and with the cost of this speaker I’d prefer stereo audio. My biggest complaint is immediately after opening and using the speaker the color was scratched off. I expected better quality all around.

Cheap paint, not drop proof.

Bought this speaker after seeing great reviews, and am severely disappointed. The paint scratches off from fingernails after just grabbing the speaker normally. It’s supposed to be drop proof, but the outer cover broke after falling off a kitchen counter. Not worth the money.
