Great sound, clunky technology

Have been using this for 6 months. Bought it because of the sound quality which continues to be amazing. Some aspects of the technology are very outdated and annoying - it interrupts your music to announce "low battery, recharge now" even while it is actively charging. It interrupts your music to announce everytime a device is added or removed. The app is very clunky and old, but needs to be used if you have more than one device connected and want to start streaming music from the second device - there is no other way to do this. I give 4/5 on the quality because of the quality of the required app, but the speaker is 5/5 so I did not return it.

I found the sound of this unit excellent and the keys are easy to use because I’m visually impaired so it was pretty handy great product I can do this blindfolded

Sony SRS-XE300

I returned the speaker, only because I had an ancient Harman Kardon system that crashed, hooked up to my tower computer, and was accustomed to a sound system with treble and bass adjustment, and stereo balance capabilities.
For my iPad and my iPhone, the Sony SRS-XE300 was more than adequate and easy to connect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best

The sound is the best among the displayed speakers at BB. It’s better than Sonos or JBL. I play it at loud volume all day and it’s still going at 8pm. It’s easy to hook up Bluetooth as 1,2,3. Buttons have led light and easy to touch and play. I don’t use app, just Spotify and iTunes and its equalizer is all I need. The bass was muffled at first, but after few days playing and breaking it in, the bass is thick and clean.
