Does not open with I Phone Pro Max 16 although it was mentioned that it is compatible with I Phnes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are great. I TB storage with a small formfactor and supports both USB C and standard USB, I use to transfer data between a Mac ad Windows PC. Works great! Metal case gets warm but that is because of the high speed data transfer.The U shaped clip can get loose and fall off but that doesnt affect operation.
