[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, is this board game fun it challenges you to pick characters and two haunted books, 10 game cards and a ton of fun for family and friends. I like how the board game is small. I can store it and the packaging is very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of Betrayal at House on the Hill 2nd Edition for years, but since my son took that one to college I was excited to pick up the new 3rd Edition. The new version has been updated and streamlined quite a lot, and I think all the changes are individually great. Taken collectively, I’m wondering if maybe the game is now a bit too streamlined. I need a few more plays to be sure, but I suspect it strongly. The Good: The new artwork is much more vibrantly colored, without being cartoony. The Haunt Roll can no longer trigger on the first or second Omen card There are significantly fewer tiny little tokens to keep track of. The overall gameplay is the same as the previous version, and there are still 50 different possible Haunts. The players can now choose a background reason for why they are exploring the House, which affects the style of Haunts they will trigger, rather than it being completely random.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was nice and eye catching. I think it will be a fun game to play with people who have watched these movies. I’m not into scary stuff but I know some people who are.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start the game pieces are plastic but that’s ok with me. Nicely designed and packaged. I puts me in the mind of the board game clue which I love to place . Very safe to place as I said the game pieces are plastic. Not know if it would be good for the price but hey everything costs an arm and a leg lol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Publisher: Avalon Hill Expansion for: Betrayal at House on the Hill (3rd Edition required) Players: 3–6 Ages: 17+ (due to mature horror themes)
Review: This is an expansion set that brings Stephen King’s IT into the world of Betrayal. Set in The Neibolt House, the module lets players face off against the iconic and terrifying Pennywise the Dancing Clown. It introduces new room tiles, omen cards, and haunts specifically themed around Derry and the horrifying creature that preys on fear. Pros: A must-have for fans of IT or Stephen King Themed content adds depth and fear factor to the game Pennywise is a chilling and well-integrated antagonist Cons: Requires the base game to play Horror theme is darker and more mature — not for kids Best enjoyed by players already familiar with Betrayal mechanics 🎈 If you're brave enough to face your fears, this expansion makes your Betrayal nights even more thrilling.
