[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This She-Ra action figure is very detailed and great as a collector's item and for play. It is good for introducing new generations to the world of Eternia. She is articulated with great detailing and accessories.

She-ra Action Figure is a hit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed the Masters of the Universe She-ra action figure! He loved the several points of articulation, being able to change her look, and the several accessories she came with. I can't say he reaches for it all the time, but he consistently plays with it enough to call it a win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Much improvement from the toys I remember from the 80's. The details are exquisite and from what I've seen of the collection, so far, totally improves the original set in appearance and functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening this Masters of the Universe New Etheria She-Ra figure whit my son takes me back to a time when I was a kid watching and playing with my He-Man figures. This figure is so detailed it’s almost real.

Not everyone will love this, but we did

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child's first impression and statement was "Daddy, I want to watch THIS (version) of She-Ra!" She's asked for this several times in the last few days.
We played with this as a family as we often do with Masters of the Universe toys. My daughter loves the scale of the figure being closer to dolls than 5.5 scale figures that also find their way into battles.
The design of the figure is magnificent in the way it meshes the original design of the 80's toy, and a real world take. There's a lot of careful design and thought that went into this, and the intention in the design feels like a love-letter to fans of old.
For adult collectors, I think they'll be disappointed in a few things. My wife's first impression was that the image of the figure on the back of the box out-performs the actual product. I might not have thought about it if I had nothing to compare against. My wife also pointed out the considerable gap at the top of the outset of the thighs; it's not really obstructed from view by the skirt. My thought was that this might be an opportunity for a Swiftwind to sit on (as my Daughter requested, and played with as if She-Ra were riding her arm), but the figure depiction on the box shows a much higher hip/thigh. The other thing that stood out to me was the wash of paint on the hair was poorly executed or, looks like it wore off some (it isn't). It looks ok in the ends of the hair to give depth to the hair scuplt, but the top of the head just doesn't make much sense to me. My wife picked it apart as well asking if it wore off already. My child said "her hair looks CRAZY... (long pause) I LOVE it!" The painted gem on the crown also flaked off some with minimal play. I find this to be common with some of the Masterverse figures, but it's a trade for cool details if you just pose them vs play as we do.
My child needs help with the hands and swapping them. If there's a drawback for her age, it's this but given our dynamic and how we are asked to be involved in play, it's not an issue and the options are better than none. I also realize that she doesn't ask to play with us in any other toy line that has characters interacting with one another.
It also prompted her after an hour of play to watch the old cartoon. I found it heartwarming that she did a lot of the same reactions I did in the 80s with my first MOTU figure, right down to pretending there was something to ride on.
She really liked making She-Ra do the splits (benefit to the gap on the upper thigh) and kicking Hordak and company to save her brother over and over again.
I feel like some tweaks could be made with the execution of the toy and offer it as a premium or convention exclusive with throwback packaging. For all the things the adult collectors might have issue with, my daughter adores this toy and it has made its way through be included in other random toy lines, a stroller ride and some make-believe interaction with the dog that I didn't quite catch when making breakfast. She has played with it in intervals from 15 min to an hour.
It pains me to ding this review at all from 5 stars, but middle of the road felt like too little because the unexpected gift of seeing my child do much of the things that I did 4 decades ago at her age, that's really something special. I hope everyone giving this to a child has the same experience I did watching my child fall in love with this character. Buy it and play with them... who knows what adventures you'll have?

She-Ra New Etheria Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The figure has very nice texture and sculpting. The cape is also an excellent accessory. The sword and shield fit well in the figure hands and articulation is great. The paint is a little washed out, i would like to see brighter colors. The shininess of the hair takes away from realism.

A bit of fading, but super enjoyable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely LOVED the She-ra, she was fun, cool, and my son really enjoyed playing with it. However, the gem on her sword that was originally painted blue (turquoise), faded and scratched off incredibly fast compared to the rest of her sword. Also, I found her legs to be a bit siff with movement. Overall, not including stiffness and fast faded colors, I would recommend this toy for other children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool action figure toy. My child enjoys playing with it and it does hold his interest for a fair amount of time. This toy includes the She-ra figure, a sword, a shield and a pair of hands to change into. One pair of hands are fists and the other are slightly open to hold the sword. To interchange them you simply pull out the other hands and snap in the pair you want. It is easy to do but I wish there was a way to store the extra pair on the figure so that its not easy to loose. A cool feature about this action figure is that it has multiple points of movement. An example is her leg: the hip, knee, shin and ankle all move in some manner. It is fun to have a toy that is so adjustable for any type of play. We have played rough with it and have had no breaking or damage to the toy. Overall I would recommend this toy. It is durable and a great open ended option.
