Great sound but technical problems.

Sound is very good. But I bought the speaker to pair with the SoundLink Flex Portable Speaker I already had. So far I have found them to be incompatible. The phone app does not work the the 2nd Gen either. Very disappointing.

Thanks for your feedback. The SoundLink Flex 2nd delivers big, bold sound in a super‑packable design and is built to go wherever the music takes you. I’m sorry the SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen didn’t pair with your original Soundlink Flex first gen and the app didn’t work as expected. The two generations use different apps, SoundLink Flex 1st Gen uses Bose Connect app while the 2nd Gen uses the Bose app, so they are not compatible for stereo or party pairing.

I must say this speaker FILLS an average bedroom with wonderfully clear loud but not loud music this speaker absolutely worth the cost definitely recommend the purchase

We purchased this speaker as our go-to mobile speaker, especially for outdoors. I was nervous about the compact size, but it is extremely loud, although it does have a range in which it would be considered loud, so in a 12x15’ room or outdoor area, it is audible, clear, and vibrant. I do like how you can connect multiple Bose speakers through the app as well if you need more volume, which also creates a surround sound effect. But if it’s just you and your friends outside or at the beach, one is enough. The texture and material have a squishy silicone feel, and it seems very durable. I’m pleased since I ordered it in the yellow, and I do think it’ll outmatch a spill/or dirt.

I purchased two Bose 2nd generation speakers and I love them. Money well spent I will recommend Bose speakers to anyone. The sound and the quality is great I’m happy that I could find a good quality speaker these days.
