Great image quality, BAD craftsmanship

We purchased 18 of these last year and have already had 11 of them replaced (warranty). When they work, they're awesome! Great image, very bright, and the auto keystone options work well most of the time. Then... they start losing certain colors. There appears to be a wiring problem under the control panel. 1 of the 3 LCD bulbs will stop working, leaving the colors in the image completely off. Can be corrected for a while by applying pressure to the control panel (not directly on the buttons), but after a few hours, that trick stops working and Epson Support replaces them with a refurbished unit. Some of the refurbs have had the same issue as well. Like I said, awesome projector, but we're having a hard time depending on them and are often sending backups to our more important presentations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product, Great size and awesome quality

Bought this for our conference room. Originally we set it up on the table and used it. It works great. Very bright and clear. A HUGE step up from a very old projector we were using. We chose this model to work with our wireless tablets and laptops. Once configured, the tablets / laptops connect wirelessly to the projector and now you can present from anywhere in the room. With a tablet, you can draw , annotate, etc. Finally mounted the unit to the ceiling - the table is now clutter free (no cables). Overall a great experience.

Very light, great picture

Bought it for personal and work use. I tried it yesterday and my friends loved the picture quality while we played Wii U with it. I'll be using this for work presentations too.

We have about 20+ projectors- some classroom, some portable. I like this one best for 'other than super high lum large class/ballroom' where 1080p and 3000 lum is my standard. Nice H&V auto keystone on this unit and more portable than most. I would standardize on this to meet both portable and std classroom needs except I can get same specs for classroom projectors for 40% less (so I cant). If you can get by w only 720p, the 1781w is lower cost in an epson portable.

Nice Projector! Little more noisy than I expected

I would have given this 5 stars if the noise level is less. Auto-keystone correction is awesome! It will also be great if this comes with an OS like Android and built-in apps like You Tube etc.

Excellent Projector

This is by far the best projector we have purchased...and we have purchased and used a number of them. The auto-focus feature is hands-down worth it. The wireless connectivity was a breeze to setup along with the personalized logo. No complaints for this at all. The brightness is excellent and the auto-keystone feature is also a bonus for a portable projector. It came with a bag for portability. Top Notch!

I've been looking around for a while and I am so happy I went for this Epson product! got my projector 3 days ago and I am really enjoying it. The "hardest" part was figuring out where to put it... the great thing is that I could install it on the side, and it looks as awesome as if it was right in front of the screen/wall.
