I only gave it 4 stars because the design is right on. It is sleek and unobtrusive which is what we needed for our small home based office. If it performs as well as it looks then it will be upgraded to 5 stars, right now it is too new to tell.

I use this surge protector by my office desk for my laptop, desk lamp, cell phone, desk fan, and printer. Everything works good and I don't feel worried since my appliances are protected. I like that it is sleek and plugs directly into wall. I used to have a GE surge protector, but that only lasted 2 years and less joule protection. I hope this one lasts a lot longer.

I own a Tripp Line Conditioner that is used with my standby portable generator during power outages here in South Florida. The unit protects all my electronic equipment and appliances. Neighbors that used a generator have lost TVs, and computers because they didn't have line and surge protection. That said, I know the surge protector will work as designed and this one is designed to allow for almost any configuration of cable management. Great product!

This product fulfilled my intended use. I needed to be able to use the plugs in either facing side-to-side of face outward. The facing outward was required to accommodate a timer. I rated this only a four star as the unit wants fall out of the wall socket due to the uneven surface with the wall plate in place. A better design would have a hollow recess to accommodate the wall plate or to have a screw so it would attach to the wall outlet using center hole on the wall plate.
