[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used a Surface Pro 5 with a single USB -A port for several years. This caused great inconvenience because I had to swap-out an external back-up hard drive, a digital microscope, an external CD drive and a USB flash drive with personal information that I kept off my system unless needed. I just upgraded to a Surface Laptop with a USB-A and USB-C drive. The Lenovo USB-C to USB_A Hub has greatly simplified my life. No more waiting to disconnect a drive.
