Great general purpose home UPS

This UPS packs a punch for a reasonable price. Great power backup length of time. 12, I repeat 12 outlets! Reliability that Tripp-Lite provides is second to none. When my low older 2 1/2 year old battery started making my UPS do strange things, they were amazing with customer service that went above and beyond most experiences with any other company. Kudo's guys. Would definitely buy another, oh wait, I already have 3 of these and counting ...

We're in the investment industry and rely on our computers for timely market information. With the unpredictable weather we have had times when power to our building has been interrupted. Thankfully our UPS kicked in and kept us running long enough to make the appropriate adjustments. We would not be without a Tripp-Lite UPS.

The "burning plastic" when the unit was first plugged in that it was unusable. I connected the unit to an outside plug in a covered porch, and after 5 weeks the odor had abated to a degree I could start using it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased a UPS to protect my HTPC setup. Nice part about this particular product is the spacing between the plugs. You can fit large adapters next to each other. Only issue is that the UI for the device is written in Java... so No go for Edge... It is also a bit bulky, but nothing they can do about. Just wish the UI was HTML 5 and had a webserver...

This is a nice compact backup power strip. The small raised lettering was the only shortfall fo rmy poor eyesight.
Pros: Compact, Good Cord Length, Great Protection, Well Built / Quality
Cons: Poor Raised Labelling
