[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for my daughter to be able to take notes in class and to be used generally as her primary computer without having to also buy a tablet. Bought the Lenovo Digital Pen 2 with it.
I was a little worried that getting a 7-series would be disappointing vs the 9-series but it's not. The build quality is excellent. The performance is great. It's not the lightest laptop you can get but it's very reasonable and makes it feel solid. That's the sacrifice you make to get a 14". It's worth the extra bit of weight to get a nice big tablet screen and, more importantly, a laptop that's got a decent sized screen for general use.
Pen performance has also been great. She's been using Microsoft OneNote which works surprisingly well. You can take pictures of written material with your phone and it will adjust/crop the notes to be flat and square and sync them to the free OneNote that you can then play with on the laptop.
The only complaint so far has been that the power supply cable (USB-C) is a bit short. If your electrical outlet isn't on the desk or nearby, you'll need an extension. It's still 6 feet long (2m) but many of them are 7' or longer. So still decent but I think that a couple of extra feet of range is worth the hassle of a longer cable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid machine. Excellent battery life. Does not run heavy games efficiently or with top tier graphics if you're looking for that. Does not come with a stylus but that can be purchased easily. Very flexible and easy to use.
