Does NOT provide power over the back USB-C port!

My unit did not provide power on the back USB-C port so i contacted their support chat support and I was told that the USB-C port on the back does not provide laptop power unless you but the adapter listed in the description: HB30C1A1CPD. Add an extra $35 if you want to use it as a full docking station.....

Thank you for your review. While the DK30A2DH does not provide power delivery to charge laptops, many of our other docking stations do have this feature. We will reach out to provide assistance finding a suitable docking station for your setup that includes this feature.

How come you didn't added charging and SD card into this device - otherwise it's the perfect adapter for the Mac Book Pro!

X1 Cardon Extreme Gen2 GPU not used

NVIDIA display settings are not available with this dock with USB-C. Tried updating all drivers and still, it doesn't work. No documentation found either. Recommend to just get the Lenovo usb-c dock instead

We apologize for the difficulties you're having with our DK30A2DH. This dock is compatible with both USB-C and standard USB 3.0 so it uses a Displaylink chipset to convert a USB data signal to video. Due to this, the displays are seen by the host PC as virtual displays and don't have the same functionality as a dock that uses USB-C DP-Alt mode with MST. If you are looking for a dock that will be seen properly by your nVidia control panel or support video/photo editing or gaming, we recommend a dock like our MST30C2HDPPD.

Worked for two days

I got this product from my employer and set it up and it worked for three days, and then stopped working. I believe its a power issue because the LED light will not work when plugged in. Not sure whether its the displaylink or the charger, but its disappointing that either would fail so quickly

We apologize for any confusion when purchasing our DK30A2DH. This dock is a standard USB 3.0 docking station and comes with both a USB-C and standard USB-A cable but due to being USB 3.0 and not full USB-C it does not provide power back to the host laptop. If you need a computer that supports power delivery, we recommend a dock such as our DK30C2DPPD that provides up to 60W power to the host laptop.

Jitter on 4k panasonic TV with Macbook Pro 10.15

it works ok then after a while it starts to slow down display and jitter and cursor multiples on screen, then reset and goes back to normal

Excellent Dock

This docking station has all the ports you need for a laptop. It has enough weight and grip that it did not slide around on my desk due to cable weight. I really enjoyed having 6 USB3.0 ports.

Setup is simple and one can be up and running very quickly. It astounds me that the unit can have so many ports while remaining so compact. The rubber feet grip the desk nicely and with it's small size it is unobtrusive on the desk. Works as expected to power two additional monitors.
