I have one in my office and two at home. They work great as power strips (plenty of room for large adaptor plugs, etc) and I'm confident they provide the surge protection that my devices require.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After reading a lot of reviews - including many by those who had to test the protection offered - I decided on the Tripp Lite product. So far, I'm impressed. The power cord is long enough so that it's easy to place where I want it, and the actual outlets are spaced so that they're functional. I haven't had to test it against a major surge yet, and I hope things stay that way, but the warranty offers me some peace of mind.

This works as advertised. Easy to plug in and has 10 outlets and 4 of them are spaced out for the bigger plugs which is great. Great product!

Lots of outlet space and spacing for even your most bulky devices. Love knowing that everyone is protected and covered by TrippLite's coverage. This is a must have for everyone's entertainment system. Isn't it worth the extra money to protect all of your expensive electronic equipment?!

This is one of those products that is hard to review, until it fails to do what you bought it for. And, I hope to never find out that it didn't work. I bought it based on the design, but also based on other glowing reviews from people who needed the protection it offered and the customer service response they received from Tripp-Lite. Hope this helps with your decision.

So far it feels like a sturdy product but I haven't cracked it open yet to inspect the wiring which I probably won't just because I don't want to void the warranty.

Great So Far

I bought this unit about a month ago, after buying and returning a comparable but defective Belkin device. I am happy with it so far, but the jury is still out because I'm not sure it's been truly "tested" by a surge yet. I'm also not sure about Tripp-Lite's track record on paying claims, but the company did make it easy to register the device for warranty protection.
