I have the unit set up in my home office. Florida, the lightning capital, is a test for any surge protector. So far nothing has fazed this protector. Good size, plenty of easy access outlets. Warning lights plainly visible. What more could one ask?

2 things really stand out about this surge protector, 1) the price was lower compared to units that had less features and 2) most important to me, was the fact that it will not allow you to use it if the protection is gone. That means a lot to me and that's the main reason I bought this. If I have a problem with something I want to know about it asap, not when its too late to react. If this goes belly up for what ever reason including a power surge, I wan to be able to replace it and provide protection for my electronics instead of having my head in the sand and "hoping everything is okay". I live in Florida and lighting storms this time of year are a fact of life. I want to know that I'm protected and when I'm not. That's why I bought this and so should you.

Works exactly as it's supposed to. The best part about this surge protector is it stops providing power when it is no longer providing surge protection. My last surge protector didn't have this feature and I lost a plasma tv because of it.
