[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this camera for its facial recognition capability with Windows Hello. The cam works very well with this task. But there are downsides that were immediately apparent. The camera is somewhat pricey and bulkier than the inexpensive HD camera it replaced. The USB cable goes straight out the back of the unit rather than down. There is a manual lens shutter that can be closed by sliding a tab across the top of the unit, but unfortunately this throws off the camera angle and tilt since the swivel stand on the unit is so loose. The camera must be reset level every time. The unit works well enough but is bulky, unsteady, and vulnerable. I would probably not buy this camera again unless there are no better options available.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The webcam has really crisp image and is perfect for my work calls. Would recommend getting it. However, the laptop webcam is sufficient as well. It is also very affordable. My only jibe is it’s a little hard to put on my laptop sometimes.
