[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement for 300W/500W Gen 3. While the Lenovo website doesn’t mention it was compatible and the original part was discontinued, i compared the specs on both models and they match. I can confirm that this pen also works with gen 3.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may have reviewed this already, but I did seriously buy six of them, so I guess I could do six reviews!
I have a $3,200 X1 Yoga Gen 8 with max specs, but this little thing will probably get more use. This is convenient and durable, but does get quite warm. Performance has not been affected yet, but overheating is definitely a concern. I bought one for my handicapped brother, one for my elderly aunt, another for my recently retired step-father, one for myself, and two for by bestfriend with an Autistic child who routinely breaks her electronics. Everyone is super happy with their device, but the pen does not come with it. The 300/500W Gen 4 pen does fit/charge with this, but we drilled a tiny hole in the pen top to put a lanyard through. The pen is just a fraction too short, so it is a pain to remove. I love this laptop.
