Mouse also uses a single AA battery, not a proprietary solution. If I had to nitpick silver is the only option available for colors.

The device connected easily to my laptop, and is working without any issues. It slides a bit too easily for my liking on smooth surfaces like a table top (compared to a Logitech wireless mouse I have) but one gets used to it. The flat profile makes it easy to carry in a backpack pocket.
