[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All the bells and whistles, performs flawlessly. Opted for the higher ram and SSD storage space, for running multiple VMs and doing heavy software development inside the VMs. So far it has been performing perfectly, all the power I need, and then some. Ease to setup, came with Windows 11 Pro, logged in and my apps were all there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace my X1 Carbon Gen 4, which no longer supported Windows 11 and had become so sluggish that it exhibited noticeable slowdowns and took an extremely long time to reboot. The new P14s Gen 5 is lightning-fast and boasts a considerable amount of processing power, along with ample 96 GB of RAM and a large 2 TB SSD, which perform even the most demanding tasks with ease. The +50% discounted price made this a no-brainer. I was concerned that all that performance would impact the weight, but it was only slightly heavier, so it was a non-issue. I recommend this for anyone seeking a powerful replacement for an aging laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using it for only 2 weeks so far, so my experience with it is limited, but the verdict as of now:
- lightweight
- powerful
- doesn't seem to overheat
- no annoying bloatware pre-installed
- works fine with my cheapo dock
- generally build appears to be high quality, like original IBM ThinkPads used to be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in need of a laptop for college and found this one after searching on sale for half off. It performs all my tasks like a dream and it feels amazing to use due to the quality materials it’s made out of. Even at full price I’d say this a great buy who wants a good laptop that will last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great small powerhouse. Didn't expected such power output from such small and lightweight package. Port selection, display, keyboard, overall appearance are great. Cooling system is outstanding. Didn't liked the Copilot key instead of standard PrtScr one. This will be annoying for a long term ThinkPad user, who loves classic keyboard layout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with my Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 so far. What stands out the most is the impressive memory and speed. With 96 GB of RAM, the system handles multitasking effortlessly and I can run multiple heavy applications without any lag. The 2 TB of storage gives me plenty of room for work files, media, and backups so I never have to worry about running out of space.
Performance wise, it feels like a fast and responsive machine right out of the box. Boot times are quick, programs load instantly, and switching between tasks is smooth. The build quality is solid as you would expect from a ThinkPad, and I appreciate that Lenovo continues to make durable professional laptops that also deliver great performance.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this laptop and would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs reliability, speed, and plenty of working memory for demanding tasks.
