The ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 is a highly portable mobile workstation that doesn’t compromise on power. Weighing just over 3 pounds, it’s easy to carry and boasts a sharp 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, perfect for multitasking. Powered by Intel’s latest Core processors and up to 64GB of RAM, it handles demanding tasks like video editing and 3D rendering effortlessly. The NVIDIA T500 GPU adds extra graphical power, while the keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions. The battery lasts 8 to 12 hours, depending on use, and the security features, like a fingerprint reader and webcam shutter, provide extra peace of mind. However, the P14s Gen 5 comes at a high price, which may not be worth it for users who don’t need top-tier specs. The 14-inch display might feel small for some, especially for those used to larger screens. Heavy usage can also drain the battery faster than expected. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those who need a high-performance laptop on the go, but it may not be the best fit for everyone due to its price and screen size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superfast, 96 GB of DDR5 Ram helps with the 50 chrome tabs and various simultaneous apps i have running. I bit heavier than advertised, however it runs quiet. It's well built and easily accessiable, although my config is maxed out with 3K display and larger battery. I have attached images of it on a scale compared to my X1 carbon gen 7. I hope the quality of parts lasts beyond the warrenty period as the usb-c ports which are soldered on to the motherboard tend to give out overtime and should have been attaced to a daughterboard instead for ease of replacement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While laptop build quality is good, it would be good if it is little lesser in soze and wright. Battery back is very bad. I get between 2 to 3 hours which is horrible. I have dual boot with ubuntu and windows which is fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!
