Didn't work out of the box and there was no way to test whether or not it was the fault of adapter or laptop. Called support who talked over me most of the time (although politely to be fair) who said they'd ship another adapter to test. If it worked I'd send the other one back. Instead of sending a replacement, I received (what I imagine is) a refurbished standard adapter; the style that came with the laptop and not a USB-C. It wasn't even the entire unit; just the adapter and not the adapter to wall cable. I just spent good money on something I don't know worked and got a different replacement. It works, but if Lenovo says they are going to do something, they should do what they say or ask me if they can substitute.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing compares to the OEM gear. You don't save money buying cheap chargers when they break after 30 days. Save yourself the money and frustration and buy a Lenovo charger for your Lenovo product.
Bought it for my Lenovo L380. Works as expected!!!

I bought the adaptor (charger) because the original charger started to work sometimes and stop working other times. I decided to buy original again, it charges the laptop fast but with 2 problems. 1. The laptop get very hot which did not happen with the old charger. 2. The charger itself get very hot which happen with the old one but not to that degree. I hope Lonovo can explain that? Is the charger defective?
