[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a ThinkPad P1 Gen 5 with the i7-12800, 64GB RAM, a 2GB SSD, and an A4500 graphics card (16GB RAM), running Windows 11. I got the 4K 600 nit screen, which is beautiful and really bright. The machine swiftly handles every workload I throw at it and is slim. I have it connected via a ThinkPad Thunderbolt 4 Workstation Dock to two external 4K monitors. The only downside is heat - under the least bit of CPU load, I feel a lot of warmth through the keyboard, something I hadn't expected with Intel's 12th generation chip. In retrospect, I might have gone with the P16 for better heat management.
