[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my workstation dock. I have all of my associated gadgets plugged in and everything is working perfectly. I originally bought the wrong docking station that would not supply power to the computer. I called Lenovo and asked to return it to purchase the proper docking station and they were very accommodating.

Does not fit Lenovo P14s Workstation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am disappointed that there is lack of compatibility description on lenovo website and you have to guess. I bought it for my new Lenovo Thinkpad P14s Workstation since this dock is supposed to fit workstations. To my surprise it does not. The provided cable to connect the dock to laptop does not fit the P14s and I have to connect another cable to supply power to the P14s otherwise it shows a battery warning. I think Lenovo should at least mention in the product description to avoid such case. Obviously Lenovo's P14s team does not talk to the dock station team, typical big corporation issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As we checked the Compatible details, it shows that dock is surely compatible. However, depending on the version of the P14s, the dock cannot provide enough power to charge the laptop. And in this scenario, you have to connect the laptop's AC Adapter directly to get the power. Please refer to below link,

Great docking station but it's heavy...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice product and the performance so far is great, I can connect multiple monitors without noticing any lag during gaming or media streaming. The only downside I can see is that is on the heavy side, like, considerably heavy, so, if you don't plan to travel a lot with it, you might want to consider something lighter besides that the unit works great, highly recommended.

Frequent monitor glitching using HDMI

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought a new ThinkPad P15v Gen 3, and bought this dock to go with it, since it is listed as compatible in Lenovo website's literature. I hooked up my LG 4K monitor to it via HDMI and the monitor experiences frequent glitching in the form of screen tearing and image misalignment where portions of the screen are a pixel or two misaligned.
There is also a significant lag in any of my devices (keyboard, Wacom tablet) plugged into a USB hub that is plugged into the dock. I had to remove the USB hub and plug all of my USB devices and dongles into the dock directly, which now leaves me with no remaining USB ports. After multiple firmware updates for all devices and the dock, and multiple laptop restarts, the USB device lag is resolved but the monitor glitching remains.
I noticed that there is LESS monitor glitching when I unravel the dock cord and let it hang freely (I had it wrapped and tied to keep cord hazards out of the way). It still glitches, however. I previously had a different Lenovo laptop and dock which did not have this problem, using the same monitor and setup. When I try to submit a ticket to Lenovo Support, I am sent on and endless loop of chatbot "support", self-help articles, and a community board. Very frustrated and will try to RMA this dock since it is not functional as is. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
