When I say it is very roomy - I have my laptop, 2 inch binder, and two of my college books ( I'm a medical clinical assistant student) inside my bag. In the front top pocket, I have all my pins and highlighters there. Come to the bottom zip pocket I have two packs of note cards unopened, and have 300 single note cards with my medical terms on them. I can even fit my wallet, keys, and phone in that pocket. I love this bag, plus my kids like to touch things that are not theirs and stuff dirty. Well guess what, this bag is water proof and it's still in one piece. You can't even tell a 20 ounce of Dr. Pepper was spilled all over it.
